Default It CAN be done!!!

I just want to post a link to the pictoral weigh loss journey of a former co-worker of mine. This is extremely inspiring. Jim has lost over 300 lbs by diet and exercise alone. That man deserves a big pat on the back!

Wow...Lots of motivation there. Geeze those 550 and 600 are SCARY, SCARY, SCARY. Egads. Especially the outdoor one. I hope there was not permanent damage on joints and such. Many congrats on him getting it under control. Makes my journey back down look very doable almost easy.

Talk about taking ownership for a problem. Amazing kudos for doing it the right way, or at least the most healthy way, diet and exercise.

no- he did it by diet and exercise alone. If I didn't know him, I might question that, but I don't see Jim being dishonest about it at all. He started out by walking and he stopped eating junk and brought his meals to work from what I understand. I didn't work with him when he started losing the weight, but my husband did. I quit work when he was at his highest weight. It's amazing isn't it? And he's a truly nice guy too so I am very happy for him.

Thank you for posting that link to Jim's pictures. I'm absolutely floored at his transformation. Talk about inspiring!

What really struck me, aside from the sheer amount of weight he took off, was the change in his eyes throughout the process. It's almost like I could see the twinkle getting bigger and bigger throughout his scrapbook, ending in that beautiful beaming smile. Seeing those photos made my day.

Completely off topic here, but...

ooooo- BerkshireGrl, I LOVE your haircolor! You don't have to say if it is your natural color, but if I had to guess I would say that it is. No matter what I do I can't get that color from a bottle :-( But hey- if it isn't natural and you wanna share your secret I'm all ears :-D
