At the risk of sounding like a pervert...(re: bra sizes)

  • Hi ladies (and any gents attracted to the thread by the title )

I had a very nice NSV today. That being the fact that my bust measurement -- which started at 38.75 inches -- is now down to 34.5 inches. YEE HAW!!!

Please share (if you want to) cuz I'm just curious:

    1. Where did you start, bust-size-wise?
    2. Where/what are you now?
    3. Are you happy about it or do you miss your gals?

I'm not a pervert, I promise. I'm just so EXCITED by my 4+ inches of shrinkage and wanted to see if anyone else feels the same way about losing some boobage .

By the way, I started at a DD and I think I may be a C (or more like a C+ ) now.
  • I went from 39 or 40 to 34.5. I'm now a 34C and quite happy with that (I used to be a 40 D). My breast are saggy, though, and I have loose skin on them. I'm only 17 so, that's kind of upsetting.
  • When I lost my 100+ pounds I went from a 44DD to a 36B that was HUGE, now I am a 38D, and I am hoping to at least get to a B or C again...
  • I went from 45" to just under 36"
I think I was wearing a 42C back in the day, which in retrospect was almost certainly the wrong size. I'm now a 34D. The girls still look nice in a bra, but my skin is really loose there. Which makes me a little sad but is understandable from losing almost 10 inches there.
  • I'm a C cup, have always been so, and am pretty sure I will stay so even when I hit goal weight.

But even so, I did have a funny (to me) revelation about my bras last week. I got home from work Monday and while getting undressed I noticed my bra was only hanging together by one hook. I thought it was odd, but thought it was just a fluke. But the same thing happened on Tuesday. Then it hit me... I wasn't putting enough tension on them anymore to keep them together! I had to start using the second row of hooks! I was almost floored. This has never, *ever* happened before.

I think I'm wearing a 44C. I'm wearing the largest C cup that walmart sells, at any rate.
  • I got up to a D cup...not sure what the measurements were...but I miss my girls! WHYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have liked to keep them and still lose weight. I'm a C cup now and I know I will not drop below that simply because I've been a C since I can remember wearing a bra...and that was a good 100 pounds ago.
  • It is almost embarrassing to admit the numbers, but here goes.

At my biggest, last April, I was wearing a 44D. I don't think it was really the right size, but it was the best I could find.

Right now, my measurements say I should be able to wear a 36D, only I can't. The band is too tight. So, I'm wearing a somewhat ill-fitting 38D. But, it keeps 'em covered and hoisted into position.

Am I happy they are shrinking? YES!! I absolutely detested being so big. I'm only five feet tall. It made me feel so out of proportion. Even now, I'm a size 10 on the bottom, but more like a 14 on the top. As far as I'm concerned, they can shrink back to training bra size.
  • I went from a 36DDD being too tight (160lbs and 4 months post-partum) to now a 32D. Other than 32D being a difficult size to find, I am very happy with my boob shrinkage. They still look decent in a bra anyway (I won't talk about appearance out of bra).
  • Since late-hitting puberty, I have been a 36C. Even when I was at my heaviest (170) and my lightest (125).
Of course, i may have been wearing bras that were too tight, and too big, respectively

    I would like to remain a C cup, but maybe a 34 rather than a 36.
  • When I read that a few of you were wearing the wrong size (back in "the day") it occured to me to re-check all my measurements. And, LOL, when I first started this whole thing (8/29/02), my bust measurement was actually 41 inches!! But I'd been wearing a 38 bra forever before that. So, whoopsie .

I'd LOVE to get down to a C cup. I've been wanting breast reduction surgery since I first heard the term in like 7th grade, but now I just want a really good boob LIFT instead.
  • I'd love to have a boob lift. Since I developed early and fast, my boobs have always been kind of saggy/low hanging. That's one part of my body I'm really unhappy with.
  • I used to be a B, three kids and 67 pounds later I am a D. I love it, but I know when I lose my weight I will also lose my chest. But oh well, I would rather look and feel healthy than have bigguns.
  • I was a 44B (plus size) and now I am a 38C (Victoria's Secret).
This is one area of my body that I am really unhappy with. I have always been 'small' comparatively, I was 272 and a B cup (do you know how difficult it is to find bras in that size???). And now I am somewhat remarkably a 195 and a C cup. I'm happy with my size now.
Hopefully this isn't a trend, though, where I will end up 132 with DD!!!!
  • I am with the couple ladies who are unhappy with their chests. Even at my weight I am only a B cup. AND they are uneven. The left is a lot smaller then the right. They aren't exactly perky either. I don't know how everyone feels about plastic surgery in here but when I reach my goal weight I want to get someting done with them. Especially if I have the shrinkage that you other ladies are having!
  • I started out at a 36E (which I think in the US is 36DDD) and I'm now in a 32DD It's a pain in the tiny behind to find something in a size that wierd!

I was hoping to drop a cup size or two, but I'm glad they're still big-ish. They're a lot smaller than they used to be however! They are indeed saggy too though... At least they look ok in a Wonderbra and that's all that matters! DF doesn't mind and says he likes them wobbly so I guess everyone's a winner!
