I agree with you Berlin
She does sort of look like a bobble head now. I was watching her on the view a couple of days ago and I kept thinking she looked sort of strange but couldnt put my finger on it. I think she is a beautiful young lady, but she does need a few extra pounds to get her curves back. I think at your height 115 would be a nice weight for you. Good luck
Christina Ricci unfortunately had an eating disorder at one point...I believe this go round that she did it the healthy way though.
What about all those new mommies and their weight loss. I realize its not like some of the others mentioned....but still worth a nod.
Kirstie Allie and Goldie Hawn. I can't wait to see Kirstie's new show Fat actress.
I just saw a pic of Goldie Hawn from an awards show and couldn't believe it. I don't know if it was one of those tabloid pics trying to stretch things out of proportion or even if the pic was current. Anyone know the 411 on Miss Hawn?
I was surprised to see Keely Shaye Smith at the Oscars with hubby Pierce Brosnan. She was the lady at the end of "Unsolved Mysteries" who would walk around the phone tips area and give updates on the cases. She looked big and I was wondering if she was pregnant, or just gained. It's interesting to me how I don't follow any celebrities except to see if they are fat or thin or normal looking. How pitiful for me. -Ruby
Wayne Knight, who played Newman on Seinfeld, lost around 100 lbs He lost by going on a calorie controlled diet provided by a gourmet food delivery service.
Carnie Wilson looking heavy......
Could it be she was regaining because she was pregnant? It happens, ya know. A horrible thing happened to me when I was pregnant.... IT'S CALLED MASSIVE FLUID RETENTION!!!! I looked like I had gained 75 lbs by the time I went into labor. 3 Days after giving birth I was back down to my pre-pregnancy weight, and at my 10 day check up, I was 40 lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight, but I still looked pregnant. I admitted failure and went for WLS after gaining 120 lbs from a resulting medical condition from my pregnancy that my doctor failed to diagnose for 5 years. Surgery was my only option, since I have destroyed all my joints working out while I was gaining weight.
WEIGHT LOSS
The queen is Oprah
Delta Burke lost alot and looks good.
GAIN
Kirstie Ally although I think she carries it well and looks very sexy
Lara Flynn Boyle......a little gain and she looks great, she needed it.
Beyonce - She had gotten pretty thin for her frame and looks like she has gained it back. It suits her better
Britney Spears - She gets bigger everytime I see her.
CELEBRITIES I DIDN'T THINK NEEDED TO LOSE AND LOST
Jessica Simpson - hope she does not lose any more
Nicole Richie - looks good now and did before also she is also dressing way better which makes a huge difference
Christina Ricci - I believe the reason she also looks smaller is she had a breast reduction along with the weight loss
JLO - looking thinner to me.......much thinner and buff
I was at a music festival a year or two ago and someone said 'Newman' to me. I am glad he has so much success doing things the right way.
The comment did not bother me too much although I was not nearly as heavy as he was on Seinfield and I knew that. I then went on bad habits and was becoming 'Newmanish'. I am NEVER going to do that again! Too much living to do plus I feel AWESOME after just 3 weeks of exercising more and eating better. I hope to get back to sometime next year my low weight and even beyond.
Hey if I had his money I would do the gourmet delivered meals also. But I like to cook and it is exciting to come up with good tasting good for you meals. My wife loves to cook also so it is all good.
Plus my wife assures me I am MUCH better looking than 'Newman' now or then. Who am I to argue?
I think Kate Winslet is beautiful - she has struggled with her weight her whole life. She is curvy and has a beautiful figure and she has lost weight in the last few years (she's thinner now after having a baby!). She has said she lost the weight and toned up because she needs to for her job but wouldn't if she weren't an actress. She thinks that it's sad how young women are trying to be pencil thin - I do too!
There was an article in one of the recent People Magazines (we get it at work ) Anyway, Carnie was pg, and just recently gave birth. She said she gained 50 lbs, and is working at loosing that now, to get back to her previous weigh (150 is sticking in my mind for some reason).
As for gainers - what's the story on the actress who plays the wife on King of Queens? She started out looking really great, and still looked great even when she put on some weight over the course of a few seasons, and then she put on a LOT of weight and I hadn't seen the show for a while and figured she'd had a baby...don't know if she's lost any of it yet.
As for losers - who's the talk show hostess who was in the movie Hairspray(?) as a teenager who was overweight and then lost? I think she's maintaining.

That's Ricki Lake. Yeah, I believe she is maintaining. If we are talking about celeb's who have lost, you have gotta talk about Star Jones. Wow.
I agree with pretty much all the previous post about which star looks better thinner verses fatter, but in reality we are the true stars. Think about it this way, we do not have the luxury of a $1,000 an hour trainer waking us up in the morning and getting our butts going, gourmet meals being prepared for us, the best undergarments in the world made by top designers to hold in all of our excess weight and excess skin. We are average people, who get up take care of our families, prepare all the meals, clean our houses, work one, sometimes two jobs (all you moms/dads taking care of children 10+ jobs!) going to school, yet we still manage to find a little time in the day to care for ourselves. With no help of nannies, assistants, chefs or anyone else they can afford to pay. We deserve the awards, and we the average people deserve to be on talk shows. Because all of us have done it without all of the luxuries that they have. IMHO, I would much rather watch a show that tells stories of people like us who actually worked for what we have lost than to watch stories about actors losing their baby weight in 3 days. Oh I feel so much better, sorry I just had to vent. I just caught a show on television and they were actually predicting about how long it is going to take Britney and Jennifer Gardner to lose their baby weight. They also had the nerve to say, "Jessica Simpsons body is so amazing, that it would be a shame if she became pregnant." They are so heartless! Again, thanks for allowing me to vent!!!

She is just big... Has been for a couple years now (probably from having kids??)
And I agree with some of the other posters: OPRAH IS THE QUEEN!! She is so human and honest about her struggle, and how it just comes down to making the commitment and doing the work - I love her so much! She looks so very healthy these days - she looks younger than she did 10 years ago!
Someone had asked about Star Jones..I was wondering the same thing, so I went to her website. It says that she did not have surgery, but works with a trainer and a nutritionist. She does look really good. As for the lady in the King of Hearts...she did have a baby I think about 4 months ago. I haven't seen her in a while...don't know if she has lost the baby weight or not. Has anyone seen the recent pics of Denise Richardson? My gosh she looks incredible for just having a baby. WOW!!
