  • Now, Ruth, that's not very fair! I was thinking that maybe you had kept one of the mice from your car!

No, there have not been any Hershey and Lucy pics and I, for one, am dying to see them!!! Please do not dissapoint the drooling members of the H&L fan club!
  • Here's Hershey! My Lucy pics need to be resized. I must do that someday and put them on a proper website.
  • Oh, my! Hershey is a love and such a beauty, too! I just want to give her a big hug!

Can't wait to see pics of Lucy one day! I hate resizing pics...

Thanks SO much for sharing, Ruth!

For a minute there I thought you had adopted one of those mice that were living in your car

OMG, I posted before I even read your comment! Great minds really do think alike!!!
  • Ruth, Hershey is so adorable with her pink tongue and little white chest. She looks so soft and fluffy.
  • OH MY, all these animals pics are toooo cute!
All my pics were too big to download, and I couldnt get them smaller with the programs I had... but I found a freeware program called Easy Thumbnails at www.fookes.com - and it was easy to convert the pics to thumbnails to post...
    Hope this helps someone!
  • update on dd's puppy
If she doesn't stop jumping and clawing and biting she will be an outdoor dog! Cleaning pee and poop is okay the other stuff isn't. DH thought he new best so Ariel isn't created but she is limited to the kitchen. It was the only place we could put a gate up.

  • Mama, you might want to try obedience classes. Puppies are really difficult...yet another argument for getting an older shelter dog.

I'm sure Ruth has some good tips for getting your puppy to mind...in the meantime, cut those toenails! Ouch!
  • Update on my Kasey~
Kasey, who has bladder cancer, is doing well as far as eating and energy. But she has been incontinent at night (wets wherever she is sleeping) so she is now sporting Pampers at night. I don't know if there is anything that will help this incontinence but I plan on asking my vet about it on Friday, when little Shelby goes in for her dental cleaning.
  • Oh, Sil, I'm so glad she's doing well other than the incontinence. It must be hard for her to lose that control...hope the vet has some ideas for how to help. Has Kasey's "Brave Doggie Blanket" come yet?
  • Yes, Laurie, the blanket came and both dogs love it!! I tried to take a pic of Kasey on it just now but the battery/flash just went out. It's a poor pic but it gives you an idea of what the blanket looks like. It has the head at one end and the tail and feet at the other end.
  • Oh, what a sweet picture!!! Kasey looks so comfy on her blanket!

My friends who have rabbits fighting cancer often get them a blanket that is embroidered with "Brave Bunny". I think Kasey's blanket is definitely possessed by a very brave puppy.

Trust me, I never intended for dd to get a dog utill she was 9 or 10. As for obedience classes, I brought that up again. It never ends at my house.

  • Love the pics of the pets!

Sil - Kasey is a brave one, and so are you! Hang in there. Huggs your way!

Puppy training - didn't do it, should have! She's better now that she's one. I'l still going to take her to training in the fall though. Hope it works! She needs to not run outside when I open the front door and also not jump on people. She's little, so it's not too bad, but still annoying.

Oh and Maxx was 18 lbs! He lost some weight because we put him on diet food, but when he got sick he was only 12 lbs!!! I haven't weighed him lately to see how much he's gained since we've got him on canned food now! He's mostly just a big cat, not really fat at all.
