Morning, gals! I'm back at work today after a week of hanging around the house. Still stuck at 179 but at least I am not gaining. I stayed OP all weekend but I didn't drink as much water as I should.

Tonight is a dish with Krab and brocolli that is topped with a sauce made from mushrooms, garlic and onions with a little whole wheat flour and milk and reduced fat cheese. It then chills for 2-24 hours. I fixed it last night so now all I have to do is pop it in the oven for 20 minutes. That should be nice and quick since I have a cub scout training session this evening after work.

Hello, all--

I have to say, I'm a little down today as we had to give away our temporary house guest yesterday..."Dude" the rabbit. We named him Dude in our attempt at naming him something generic so as not to become to attached to him. Dude showed up around our apartment when we got home from vacation a couple of weeks ago, and he was obviously not a wild rabbit.

For you rabbit fans out there, Dude looks like the breed called Dwarf Hotot on this page. Don't think he's a true dwarf breed, but his eye markings are just like that, and he has the short ears.

Anyway, it seemed obvious he was lost or abandoned, so we took him in thinking we could find someone by the end of the week to take him. No such luck. We ended up keeping him for 3 weeks before my husband's brother decided to take him as a pet. We just handed Dude over to the BIL last night, and I miss him a lot already. I even dreamed about him last night.

So I'm feeling sorry for myself, but we can at least visit Dude whenever we want since BIL lives right in town. I'm just gonna miss him jumping up to greet me in the morning and licking my hand... Sigh. Wish we could have pets.

Hi everyone,

Kinda down in the dumps today. I had one serving of pasta on Friday, and a WW tortilla on Saturday - 0 weight loss. What a bummer. I started back on phase 1 yesterday cause I just don't seem to be able to kick start any more weight loss since I came back from vacation.

I really would like to lose another 3 pounds by Friday because we are having a family reunion this coming weekend. I just need to be down some weight before that. What I can't understand is that, on phase 1, I lose 3 - 4 pounds a week, but the minute I add any kind of phase 2 carbs, I quit losing. Oh well, I guess it means that I will cycle between phase 2, where I maintain weight and phase 1, where I lose. I have about 15 pounds left to lose to goal, so I will have to make that work, then only add a few carbs to maintain.

I just got back from the track - 25 minutes late from lunch - and need to get back to work. The big guy is watching...

Take care.

cottagebythesea,

About the change in a jar thing, I do that too! DF and I are planning on a vacation right around our birthdays and we're saving all our pennies.... and quarters, nickels, and dimes to cover it!

About the change...me, too!

We have these big crayola crayon piggy banks in different colors. We sort our change in those so that it is easier to roll when the time comes.

Good afternoon everyone! It's actually morning for me as I work shift work and this is my 2nd week of nights. It's my first day OP and my breakfast was delicious and filling. I already have planned my lunch, supper and snacks -- I just need to put them together. The weather is miserable here in Winnipeg, it's been raining since yesterday and is only 13 degrees celcius (sp?). I'm leaving for the gym in 90 minutes so I need to go get the dishes done and lunch made!
