  • Thanks January! Yes, I am quite happy to see those nasty 2 pounds gone!! My clothes are getting loose even though I have not seen a major loss. But I am staying in there for the long haul! I want to buy a sexy new bathing suit for the summer!
  • Hello ladies! Ten days and counting 'til we jump on board.

Clovey, your chocolate discourse rings so true. Certainly chocolate was made by the gods to give us mortals a feeling of heaven on a daily basis! (She says while sipping the last of the Holiday Cocoa.)

Although, most days a fresh, fizzy Coke is all that separates me from bliss. That's going to be the single hardest aspect of SBD for me. Well, that & not nibbling on DS's food.

Januray, I'm lmao at your trouser troubles this morning! What a great problem!

Jenn, a pound in a week is nothing to sneeze at! After the first week or two, you shouldn't really lose more than 10% of your body weight per week, so as long as you're averaging that, you're right on track.

Ruth, are you performing in the Vagina Monologues? I hear it's playing in a couple thousand theaters world-wide this year. Fun - I'd like to see it someday. Break a leg tonight!

Lou lou, I'm trying to think of an appropriate "Brooke" costume for high school!

Sounds like everyone's doing a great job (food-wise et al). WTG! I'm high-carbin' it right now, trying to clean out the pantry. At least I'm making it to Curves regularly, though.
  • Lou Lou
    Lou Lou-
Looks like you & I are roughly about the same size with the same goals!
I started higher at 163 (I'm 5'5")...currently 151...but hoping for 138 (cause it sounds kinda nice!)
Of course my boss & the purchasing manager just took me out for lunch where we DRANK! I actually had some lovely grilled steak tips & a green salad & 2 glasses (which was typed as galles before I corrected it!)...we had some fun...and now I know wayyyyy too much about my fellow co-workers!
    Keep up the good work!
    Jan (slightly tipsy!)
  • Have a fun afternoon, January!

My SBD book just came! Off to read... (How do I read & not ignore my children???)
  • Oh I do it all the time! But then again mine are 12 & 14. I just ask 'em how does it feel? Or you could read outload in a story voice and it may take him a minute or two to catch on. DH home gotta jet!
  • That's the main reason I don't read much any more. I'm a book addict; once I pick one up, I can't put it down, so I just don't read. Well, that is unless it's a nice, mindless historical romance that I can chug in one evening.
