Default I'm right there with 'ya

I lost 17 pounds and now I'm 'STUCK'. I have only had 4 carbs (1/2 apple, 2 straw/choc, 1 smoothee with berries, 1/2 C of cereal) since I moved to phase II, so I'm not sure why I'm having such a problem.

I'm joining a gym b/c I want to keep losing. And honestly b/c I don't know where the 17 pounds came off of. My pants still feel the same.

I feel your pain.

Don't get discouraged, girls! The weight loss was bound to slow down sooner or later. But it WILL keep coming off if you stick to the program!

Yep...not getting it either...I started Phase 2 on Monday and stepped on the scales this morning and have only lost 1 extra pound. I lost 13 the first 2 weeks. Monday is my weigh day, so I will see if anything changes anymore by then. With my luck I will gain that pound over the weekend!!!!

Talking to a friend of mine who is a fitness guru, she said to make sure I am still eating at least 5 times a day (which I have been slacking on) and for her weight (which is tiny) she should be eating about 100-150 grams of carbs a day, no more than that. I know the beauty of this diet is not to count, weigh, measure, etc....but I think I will start tracking my carb intake, at least to the best of my abilities and see what happens next week...and she said to make sure when you eat a carb, to balance it with a protein!!!

Monday I will start tracking and see what happens...can't hurt!

Anyone who has been on SBD for awhile have any suggestions???

TIA!

Good Luck ladies!!! Will let you know how it goes.

Danzgal, chazmom & pebbles - You allshould feel so proud of your weight losses, 17, 13 & 10.5 lbs!?! I mean, that is unheard of in just 2 or 3 weeks, its awesome! Your bodies need time to level out and adjust and yes, you will start losing at a slower pace, there is no way your body can keep up a weight loss of more than 2 or 3 lbs per week. Believe me, I'm there, I'm tired and cranky and feeling frustrated because I want to see more results, but really, you guys are all doing awesome. Stick with it. Maybe go 2 weeks before your next weigh in to prevent more frustration. I'm saying these words not only to you but to myself.

We can do this together. It just takes time!!! Keep posting, you all inspire me & others!

Anne

OK, I'll give my crankiness up for now, too. Going out to dinner at fancy italian rest. with my dh tonight. Give me strength.

chaz, you are still losing. as long as that scale goes down, you're golden. I like to think of it this way, if I eat well for a week or two & lose a pound I'm really 2 or 3 lbs lighter then I would be if I ate way off plan for a week or two because I would have gained 2 or 3 pounds. So you are moving in the right direction.

Happy weekend!
