Default SBD and pregnancy???

Hi all,

Don't know if you'll remember me....I am a repeat SBD offender and shamefaced lurker

and I have a question for you:

My BF and i have been trying to get pregnant for a while now. My current ob/gyn put me on thyroid meds to control my hypothyroidism and fertility treatments. And I feel like I am EXPLODING weight gain wise....super bloated and retaining water like crazy

I feel like the Michelin man or Randy from A Christmas Story

I have had fantastic results with SBD, especially detoxing with P1 but am a little wary of possible negative effects on "pre-pregnancy" and/or pregancy..

Can you help me out here? I literally am not leaving the house because I barely fit into my sweats!!!!!!!!

i don't see why it would hurt. you would probably be eating healthier than you are now so that would probably be better for you! plus they say to try to lose weight to get pg.. of course i'm no dr or anything jmo.

Lol I love your Randy reference!! One of my all time favorite movies! Have you expressed your concerns to your doctor? A healthy lifestyle will benefit you no matter what. Still you should talk with your dr. Hope you have great success

Pre-pregnancy phase 1 is ok to do, but once you become pregnant you will want to move in to phase 2. Both you and the baby will need the nutrients of a balanced diet.

thanks so much for the input ladies!
I really should consult my ob/gyn on this...but, frankly, there's been so much poking and prodding and discomfort goin on =)) that I have been actively avoiding making a new appt. *sigh*
and-frankly 2- I kinda think I was hoping to get preggers right off the bat and have the ultimate excuse to not lose the weight =((

I suppose I better take care of me before I take care of a new lil human being.
