Welcome! I'm a relative newbie as well and I've found this site soooooo helpful. Definitely take advantage of the extensive collection of recipes in the forum - they rekindled my determination when my will was wavering. I stuck with it and I'm down 15 lbs!

Hello all,
I am also new to South Beach diet and also this forum. I haven't until today, but have surfed various topics. I have learned alot and love the recipe sections. Started on SBD 2 weeks ago, lost about 7 lbs so far, and hope to lose about 30 more. My eldest daughter is getting married in the fall, and hopefully, that will keep me motivated.

I'm the biggest junk food junkie around so I know it's going to be difficult, but like I said - it has to be done...no more wasting time for me. I've been surfing the site and I'm so grateful to all of you who are sharing. I'm sure I'll be posting pretty regularly as well.
