Well, it's a sad day for me today. I am not surprised and actually went to sleep last night before 10.

I ran/walked this morning my three miles. Showered. Then, I made pancakes for my crew with maple syrup. I ate my Fiber 1 with fresh blueberries. YUM and I do mean that.

I was excited yesterday when I bought a size 8 skirt. After coming home and trying it on again though I have decided it doesn't fit--I need a size 10. It is going back this morning.

Hi everyone! Quick fly-by! The coffee is just now kicking in. Sigh. Two girls in Austin for training, boss called in sick, one girl at auditor's office for who knows how long. It's going to be a loooong day!

At least my eating is back on track!

I just had the most hellacious hour ever. DH must not have put the biofreeze spray back in the medicine cabinet last night after using it. DS was in our bedroom watching cartoons while I fixed his breakfast and decided to spray it all over his hands...sounds innocent enough...until he wiped his eyes...a lot.

He came to me screaming and rubbing his eyes. I couldn't figure out what was the matter until I took a big whiff and caught the minty smell. I figured his eyes needed to be flushed, but I also know that ingesting it can be poisonous. I called poison control and they instructed me to flush his eyes for 15-20 minutes. Ok, sure. Sounds easy.

Have you ever tried to restrain a 2 year old by yourself who is writhing in pain and trying desperately to get away from you? It's nearly impossible. I eventually wrapped him in a towel and put him in the tub to flush his eyes...poor baby probably hates me.

It wore him out, though. He fell asleep within 15 minutes of getting dried off. There isn't anymore swelling or redness in his eyes though and he can open and close them without crying so I think he is going to be fine.

Why did DH have to forget his cell phone at home today? *sigh*

he just woke up....I don't think there is any damage that a little piece of Halloween candy won't fix Is it bad to bribe my kid like that?

"Here's candy....please love me"

I have to pick up DH from work at 2 to go for blood work. Ick.

Niece's 4th birthday is tonight @ 5:30 - I've been instructed to bring a bottle of wine. Thankfully I have a case here because I don't think that we'll have time to stop.

----------------------

I know we have posters here who like to use gatorade (or similar) for various reasons. Instead of spending tons of money on pre-bottled gatorade and ingesting all that HFCS...try making your own!

I made some for DH and he really enjoyed it.

Hello everyone,

Quick flyby work seems to be so busy lately, but I guess that is a good thing?

Trying to get everything done before we leave on Friday for Branson.

On a sad note, seems like I am allergic to the new kitten- I keep breaking out in hives/bumps and my allergies kick in- took me until last night to figure out that it started the night we got him. I am going to try and figure out a way to keep him- maybe just not touch him at all and make everyone else responsible for taking care of him.

Pearl - I've heard rubbing them down with a dryer sheet works - also, make sure to keep them away from things that are close to your face (sheets, pillows, etc.). We bought an air cleaner to keep in our living room and it actually helps a lot....as long as we clean the thing

Sorry to hear that you're allergic to kitty...hope it gets better!

Just a quick rant-

What is the point in having cell phone insurance if they are always going to send you a refurbished phone that doesn't work~!!I have had 2 and neither of them work correctly!!!! I just want a new phone!~! Maybe the third time is a charm?!?! Oh, and the fact that you have to call from a different phone line sure sucks too since it is the only phone I have- going to have to wait to use dh's phone when he gets home.... grrrrrr

I have a treo... Seems everyone they give me probably was a waterdamaged phone... looks red under the new white sticker! arg! I did order a new blackberry today though and hopefully I can still get my treo replaced, I would like to still have it for backup, especially since I have been paying for insurance for over 2 years on it!

Well, I'm sitting up. And I (thus far) have kept down some cheese, crackers, and dried fruit. Thinking of having some veggie broth and lying back down. The fever is killing me. Almost ralphed at work this morning, and then tried to pass out. Driving home was fun. But, I'm here, and I'm going to sip some water and watch my Dr Phil. Hope you girls are having a lovely day.

Happy Wednesday! The days have been crazy lately! The kids were off school yesterday, so we went to a Jumpy place, out for lunch and a long play date at the park. 70 degree weather in IL in Nov is unheard of!! Dh is on vacation today, so I have been running errands, going to the doctor, etc. Makes life easier when he is around. I can come and go when I need to!
He'll be home the rest of the week, so we have a lot to get done around here. I was hoping to get some Christmas shopping in too.
Speaking of shopping, for those that like Kohl's. I have 2 coupon codes for 30% off and free shipping. HOLIDAY30 and MVC8853. It saved me a ton and I put a small dent into the Christmas shopping.

I stayed up too late last night watching the election coverage and then got up early to go to the gym. I am dragging now and could use a cup of coffee.

Still need to figure out dinner! I was going to make a roast today, but when I took it out of the fridge it looked like it had gone bad! It was only a few days old, and hadn't passed the expiration date yet so DH took it back. But no time for the crockpot today. Need something quick.
Madagascar 2 comes out Friday. I loved the first one! I think we are going to take the kids out on a "dinner and movie" date night Friday to catch it!! Can't wait!

Lisa - I hope you are feeling better.
Zeff - that is CRAZY what happened to DS. Sounds like the things my kids do... glad to hear he is feeling better.
Rikki - I used to have a Treo and I loved it!! I loved my Blackberry even more. DH works for a cell phone company, so I get a new phone all the time. He wants me to try them out and give my opinion. Just when I get used to one, he takes it away and replaces it with something else. Hopefully your insurance pays off. Doesn't seem fair to pay for it and not be able to use it.
