Good morning, everyone! I want to say thanks to all the congratulations yesterday! It feels great to be in onederland!

Cottage: We're here today as well. I think a majority of use chickies seem to be working. Enjoy your day!

Cyndi: You're such and inspiration! I can't wait to get to the point where you are. I cannot imagine eyeballing my sizes. Hope you have a good observation.

Ruth: Happy belated Thanksgiving! I don't think you're nuts. I dream about a kitchen big enough to house Thanksgiving, Christmas and everyday dishes. Hope Disney gets her rest today!

Nessa: Sounds like there is a lot of excitement going on at your place the next few days. I have to admit, I'll have to google to find out what Harley looks like. Hope everything goes smoothly with getting him here.

, Mandy! Have a great day!

Lori: What I wouldn't give for a thorough blind-cleaning right now! DH and I were discussing cleaning them yesterday and then it started raining. Sigh. Well, I hope you get to your paperwork soon.

Gonna: Hi! See you later! Have a great day!

Lisa: Happy Columbus Day to you as well! Hope Tom feels better soon. I'm sure you'll be back to your maintenance weight in no time. You're always really good about getting back on track.

Laurie: I'm definitely envious of your drive home. DH and I really hope to make it to see the changing/falling of the leaves one year. I hope you have a wonderful day.

hmac: My goodness you have a lot going on! I hope that tonight is as productive as you need it to be. I'm the same way with the dry air causing bloody noses. It's really a catch 22 for me. Out here in the dry climate, I rarely have asthma attacks, but I practically become anemic in the winter due to bloody noses.

, pearl and tkglenn! I hope you both have a great day!

Me: Not too much going on here. Just kind of sitting around at work. I have stuff to do, but it will lock me out of the system and two of my appraisers are in the field, so I need access to the network. I'll have to start it at lunch so that it'll be done at a reasonable time, though.

The girls at work are starting up a Biggest Loser Challenge and I'm pretty excited about it. It's going to be hard starting it up with the holidays looming, but it will probably be good motivation to stay on track.

Well, I'm off to do rounds and see what the rest of my girls are up to. I hope everyone to come has a great day!

~Kim

Default Well hello...

It's been a very long time! I've spent some time reading posts and it's nice to try and catch up on ya'll!

I have been absent due to lack of "self control" and it shows, but thanks to some encouragement from Beachgal, I'm jumping back on the blanket. Make room on the beach!

We have snow here today...yuk, but we've had a beautiful summer. I hate to see it come to an end.

I've gained more than I want to admit to but I've managed to make it to day 6 on phase one. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm feeling less stressed this week. Only 3 days of work and then I'm off to the second session of Wood Badge. I'm so excited. I've got everything ready to print and Grace and I will go up there and work on the printing on Thursday. I do need to touch base with the lady who is watching Brian to make sure everything is still on with her.

I'm going to run the Interfaith Worship service the following Sunday at Parent & Pal so I got that designed and put in Publisher and I'm working on printing those on my inkjet. I think my poor printer is wearing out with scout stuff. I need 175-200 of these printed and folded in half (booklet format). Brian will staff that event with me so that will be lots of fun. I like that we can share this kind of stuff.

Nessa: What a cute breed! Do they get very large? You'll have to post pics of Harley when he gets there.

Gonna: It will be a great motivator! I'm glad you're feeling and enjoying your new workout dvd. I always get nervous when a new one comes in. Will I like it? Can I do it? Is the instructor going to be one of those annoying people? You know - the typical workout dvd anxiety.

RNMOM: Welcome back! Thank goodness Laurie is such a great encourager! I'm happy to see you back.

, Ladybug! Have a good day!

Barb: It's so great that you and Brian are both so involved and motivated with the scouts. I'm glad you're so excited about this weekend; I bet it will be a blast!

Me: I just got back from a great 25-minute lunch walk with a coworker. We're hoping to walk together 3 days a week at lunch. I think it's great and I'm planning on maintaining my current workout regimen, so it'll just be adding 90 minutes of activity a week.

Well, off to work on the residential class schedules for next year's appraisals. So. Much. Fun.

what a cute pup.

I'm at the computer lab at school, trying to get some serious school work done this week. I don't have to work again until Friday so I plan to use this week to catch up. It's amazing how eating well increases your focus. I just went back OP (meaning I stopped guzzling cappuchino and diet soda). I'm not thinking about what I want to eat every hour or so, it's great.

nessa! That pup reminds me of two of our dogs growing up, both named Bandit (yes, very original and very creative ).

OK< so does 7 hours of nonstop work, cleaning blinds, vacuuming drapes and walls, washing vinyl count for anything in the way of exercise?

Oh Nessie -- He is gorgeous.

When I had Cinder & Shadow (we got them when they were 9 months) my first trip to my vet his little 3 year old son walked out from behind the desk getting ready to leave the office with his Mom, looked up at Cinder sitting there and just threw his arms around her neck and gave her a big old bear hug. It was just a riot. His Dad laughed and said “I think they are pretty huggable too”. That was one of the really great things about having a Newphie, they are just so darned huggable.

Man you make me want another one.

Loriann, I would say all that housework has to count for something!

Nessa, the dog looks like a cutie pie! Wish we could get a dog. DS has horrible dog allergies, so no pets for us! :-(

Nessa...you are going to have lots of fun with the new puppy!!! I love big loveable dogs!!

Hmac....only ended up going on one of the dates...the one I talked about here...and we are getting together this coming weekend for a wooden boat festival in a town nearby...always a good time! Looking forward to getting to know this guy a bit more as well. As for the second guy....he said some things during the course of a phone conversation that kinda sent up some red flags...then in later conversations, the red flags were confirmed and I've just kinda backed off from that one! I'm actually quite impressed with myself...a few years ago I would've just jumped at the chance to go out on a date...and now I'm like...nah...not so much!! haha....so YAY me!!

I'm having a horrible time getting back on track and staying there in regards to eating. One reason I know is that I haven't been cooking and have run out of frozen meals that I've prepared ahead of time. I have migraines and for some reason i'm in the cycle of having at least one/week. So by the time my body recovers from having the darn headache, here comes another one.....and yes, I know that sounds like a whiny excuse....and it likely is...but tomorrow is a new day and another chance for clean eating!!

Work tomorrow will be a short and crazy day...going in super early so I can leave super early as well....have to bring one of my dogs to the vet...she had an accident in the house today and is now "squatting" every chance she can get outside....I'm thinking bladder infection. Poor thing...hate to see her in pain...although she's still eating and playing as normal!

Hope everyone is having a great evening!
