I usually take the weekends off, but I did Oxycise last night, and plan to do it again tonight.

Sorry I did not realize you were going to put this Sticky up when I started the Chat thread.
A sticky is a good idea --it is a good place for everyone to come and let us know what is happening in their lives. How is DIXIECHICK? Are you feeling better after your surgery? Barb you are a wonder--you have so much dedication to all your exercise programs. Jiffy I am so glad to hear that you have lost a lot of the weight that you regained. It is also reasurring to hear that it is easier to take the weight back off after WLS, I was wondering (& worrying) about that. All the REGAIN stories have put a scare in me. To go thru all that and regain the weight is a big fear.

The nurse in my Dr's office said they have one patient who has regained 80 lbs after the surgery. But they also have another patient who has lost close to 200 lbs and has not regained it back! --Pookie

HAPPY ST PAT'S WEEK !!

hi pookie... this sticky is NOT the main chat thread [and i'm glad you started one up, by the way]. this is for the exercisers among us. and to instill guilt in the others. <and you know who you are!!!!!>

it's so nice to see you....

soooo for exercise today.. an hour's hike!!! and the dog was SOOO much better behaved. it's much more of a workout than walking 3 miles. and the scenery is better.

Walked 1 1/4 mile with mom on the outside track, then did my advanced WA class. I'm still keepin up my Oxycise, did it Sat & Sunday nights. I'll weigh and measure after Wed night (2 weeks-2days) and see if there is any difference.

I've been to the gym 2 times this week. Each visit I have managed to do just a little more. Increasing my speed and elevation on the treadmill, I proud of myself for keeping this commitment. Although it will be much easier, and less guilty when the new gym is built and has the free daycare. I feel like I'm dumping on my hubby, making him watch the little one. But the new gym won't be done for months, and I don't want to wait. So its off to the gym tonight and again in the morning- I'm off Friday so I can go while he's in daycare. I may even go flirt with hubby's co-workers, they have been so sweet to ask many questions on how I'm doing. I think I am going to show off my 81 lbs. weight loss to them. Its such a ego boost to have construction workers make compliments

Well, in direct contrast to Ditzy, I've been going to the club and doing less! I think I am having a flare up of my sjorgen syndrome. Since it's all pretty new to me, I'm not sure, but I have an appointment with my Rheumy Monday morning.

Tuesday morning while I was working with the trainer, my legs literally fell of the petals of the bike, well being the trouper that I am, I put them back on and started again, the I was shaking all over so the trainer made me stop, brought me orange juice thinking maybe my blood sugar dropped, and told me to not do the water that day. Okay, I finished that day, went back to the club Wed morning to do the water aerobics, and after about 20 minutes, it was evident to me and the instructor that I couldn't keep up, so I left. Today I canceled the apt with the trainer, stayed home and played with my plants until it was time for work.

My mom says I'm exercising too much, ole alvin says I'm not doing enough. I think I'll see what the doc say Monday. Till then I'm just gonna chill!

as for me, the only exercise i did was to shovel a little snow this morning, and then i suffered at the dentist. tomorrow will be better

and to make ti all JUST MORE PERFECT i ate basically nothing but cheese all dayl. how did that happen?????

Yep, oleAlvin has bragging rights! He works out with his trainer 3x's a week. rides the elipicial bike 20 to 45 minutes each day, works out himself the other 2 days and walks in the water 5 days. He thinks I'm a wimp!

Wink GAZELLE & DEEP BREATHING

I did my GAZELLE for 21 minutes today. I am working my way up in minutes.

I also did some deep OxYcise breathing. I am going to follow along with the OxYcise tape holding my new weights to give it some added umph Gym Hamster

I have started to lose POUNDS & inches but it is hard to tell what is causing it because in addition to the exercise I am also closely following a strict diet.

Bye for now. --Pookie
