Good Morning Everyone! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Barbg-Well Life Lift is very similar to Body Flex but I've read that the breath is gentler then BF and it's supposed to really work your muscles. I started with BF years ago and then switched to O because I kept getting sore throats from BF. I haven't gotten my Life Lift tapes yet but when I do and look at them I'll let you know more. There's a website out there too if you're interested. It's www.lifelift.com and the founder is Rashelle Haines. The thing that tripped me out was that when I went to order the tapes I decided to phone it in because the website didn't have that secure symbol on it and I left my name a number and Rashelle herself called me in person. It totally tripped me out when I heard her on the other end and we talked for serveral minutes. Talk about one on one customer service ! Well that was the first good impression I got from Life Lift so far. Check it out if you get time and I'll let you know once I get my tapes which should be on Friday.

How is everyone else doing? I hope everyone is staying healthy and getting some O time in. But please post to let us know how you're doing I know it gets really busy but it gets so lonely on here sometimes ! I've done O in the mornings everyday and I'm feeling so good. I hope I look as good as I feel I would surely get a Valentine if I did . Take care and enjoy Valentines Day .

Okay Rose You've got me hooked.I've spent most of the night on the LifeLift site. I can't wait until you get your video to hear how you like it. At my age I'm especially interested in the accupressure facelift!!! I signed up for the newsletter and the disscussion list, so I'm ready to get going. As I've said before, I had started doing aerobic deep breathing years ago before I had read about any of these programs. I have also been very into motivational tape, ans subliminial message tapes. Life Lift sounds like it may combine the two. You think???

Hi everyone!

Barbg-I'm really excited too ! Yes I think Life Lift combines the two. I was really interested in the "facelift" part of the program too. It's never too early to tone those face muscles ! I did the same thing with the newsletter and discussion list but I'm confused about that because when I tried to enter a group it wouldn't let me? I must be doing something wrong. How did you go about it? I've been getting the newsletters though? Anyway I just think it's so neat the way Rashelle actually called me when I ordered the program. I felt very honored to speak with her and she told me that you can call her anytime an she'll call you back. Don't get me wrong I love Oxycise but I'm just so interested in this Life Lift program that I figured why not get it and try it and I can use both. I'll make sure I'll let you know when I receive the tapes. Probably not until Friday though. Take care and keep breathing!

Okay I did my workout this morning L4. I'm feeling really good now ! I really do love O because of the way it makes you feel. So much more energetic and healthy. I'll check back later to see who else posts. I know you're out there so please stop in and say HI!

Hello everybody - I'm baacckk! Sorry I have been away for awhile. February has definitely been an icky month for me and exercising. I don't think I've done it ONCE! So bad! I've just been REALLY busy. I am a member of Toastmasters, and am on the leadership side which means that I go to tons of meetings, and this month has just been FILLED with them! Evenings have been spent just trying to keep my eyes open long enough to get into bed!

Tonight I am going to do some O! though! I can definitely feel the difference from not doing it. But, my schedule should be letting up and I should start having more time at home in the pm. Of course I would love to do it in the mornings!

Rose - I read on the other thread your suggestion of starting a thread for ALL breathers! I think that would bring in a lot more people! I think Oxycise is great, but to have a forum where people can compare successes would be wonderful!

Also, sad day for me... Dale Earnhardt was the reason I got into watching NASCAR. Been a fan for two years and have missed only one race. Been in tears off and on today. Death is something one never gets used to...

Sorry to end on a sad note, but I just needed to express that... take care everybody!

"A Small Victory" Guess what!!! Yesterday I was able to grab my heel in the "quad stretch" position in the L2 Tape!!! First time, but I knew If I kept at it long enough I'd finally make it. Now on to the left heel!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry I've been so neglectful ! I've been so busy and this will be a short post too I'm afraid. Well I'm doing great with my O. I get up early every morning and workout. It's really paying off.

Barbg-Congrats on that victory of grabbing your heal ! You are doing so good. I've also noticed how limber I've become since I've been doing O! When I don't do it I sure can tell the difference.

Juliette-I have a friend on these boards who is a big NASCAR fan too. I think it's so sad ! I hope you are doing okay. Post when you can.

The next thread I start will be for all breathers if that's okay with everyone? I figure we might as well finish this one up first. I hope you all are doing well! Post when you all can.

Ugh. Two days without O!. Thought I was getting better. Life has just been sooo stressful... work mostly... work in a training department and we are booked solid and I have been putting these sessions together left and right. Went home Wednesday and just SLEPT! Yesterday I just didn't feel up to it. Don't know if it's February or that time of the month or what...

Asked my boyfriend to help motivate me. I have been helping him to quit smoking (buying him the patch, being a buffer when he craves a cig, etc.) so I asked him to help me to lose weight. Last night he took on the role of my personal drill sargeant and told me that I had to start liking rabbit food (I hate salads - for no other reason than they taste so bland! Also don't like cheese, which most places heap on their salads). Anyway, I hope this works... I need something to tell me to JUST DO IT!

I wish I knew what was motivating me in January. I was doing so well - at least 4 to 5 days a week - and now, nothing...

Hopefully I'll be able to post again on Monday to show something different!!!

Good Morning Everyone !

Sorry I haven't been posting. It's been so busy I just haven't had the time. I have been doing my O! though and I love it. O! is about the only thing that really works for me. I just got two tapes from Life Lift and the breathing is very similar to Body Flex except it's a bit slower. I think the toning tape with the resistance cords will be a good one though so I might do that in the evenings.

Juliette-Please don't get discouraged. Everyone goes through those phases. We all have times when we just don't have the energy or life just won't let us do what we want to. I find that it's easier for me to get up earlier in the mornings and do my O! I did L4 this morning and it really makes me feel so much better when I do it first thing. So maybe you should try that ! But just hang in there and you'll get back on track.

Barbg-I got my Life Lift tapes Weds. I looked at the intro tape and the breathing is very similar to BF but she has some better positions and the toning tape looks really good so I might try to do the toning tape in the evenings and still do my O! in the mornings. I'll let you know if I notice any difference once I start the Life Lift !

Where is everyone else? Check in when you can and don't forget to do some breathing no matter what program it is just get that oxygen in your blood !

Juliette Welcome to the Club!!! If there is anything I have learned from over almost a year of doing O it's that I go in cycles, Very Very motivated doing o sometimes 2 or three times a day, and then I'll go two or three weeks and do nothing, The great part about O is that because it is such low impact that you can always start back where you left off. Not like some exercise programs, that if you miss a couple of weeks, you have to start back at the beginning to build up your stamina. That is why I know that with Oxycise I have found a program I can use fro the rest of my life.

Rose, I'm still interested in learning more about Life Lift. Expecially the facelift part. I joined the LL Topica BB and it has been pretty interesting.

If anyone else is lurking around here, we'd love to have you join in,
Till next time KOB!!!

Hi Daisy...sorry I don't know the answer to that question.

Rose...I'm interested in the LL tapes...since you've been doing the first one maybe you can tell me...are there any exercises that would be had on the knees? Like, do you have to get on your knees a lot, or "squat" or a lot of stuff that puts stress on the knees? I can "overlook" one or even two positions but if there is a lot of knee activity I can't do them! Let me know. Which do you like best, LL or O?

I'm still coughing some. If I take a deep breath I have a coughing fit so I'm still no Oxycising. Can't wait to get back to it!!!

Good Morning everyone!

Well I've been doing my O every morning and I feel great !

MEME-I will always like O better I think. Just because the breathing is so gentle. The LL is allot like BF in the breathing area it's a little less forceful though. She has allot of different exercises then BF had and there are allot of them done standing or sitting on a chair. Of course there are a few on the knees but you can choose not to do those. When I bought the intro tape I also got the strength training tape with resistant bands and that's a good workout too. I do think that the O breath works better for me though. I seem to get more oxygen in my body with O then with LL or BF. Now if I can figure out how to do the positions on LL with the O breath I'd be all set ! If you have any more questions let me know.

Daisy-I'm not sure about the answer to your question either but I'll ask a friend of mine who is on WW and does O! and see what her opinion is. I would say it would be in the medium to high range just because of the amount of Oxygen you are putting into your body but that's just a guess. I'll post when I find out !

Barbg-The facelift portion of the LL tape is awesome. I did it this weekend and you can really feel and see the difference. I like it because it's gentle and you aren't doing the breathing while you do it either. It's basically just pressing and pushing. Very interesting ! I still perfer O for the breathing though. I think the O breath works better for me.

I hope everyone else is managing to work in some heavy breathing ! Post when you can.

Rose I think I might have to get the LL tape for the facelift part. Since I just turned 54 and am Losing weight sagging skin is a concern.
Hope everyone els are have a great O week.

I DID IT!!! Yes! I did my O! last night and I feel great!!! Been awhile... but it went by really fast. Also, my PMS is over, so life can get back to normal until the next cycle...

Started a sticker calendar. I had talked about it awhile ago, and have finally gotten it started, where everytime I O! or drink 8 glasses of water, or eat a salad, or do a few other things, I get a sticker for that day... Have had fun with it so far... Hopefully it will help.

Also have been doing situps lately - thanks to my new personal drill sargeant who has ordered me to do 25 every night - and boy do I feel it in my stomach! Why did people ever go to crunches???

Everybody - keep up the good work. Meme, I hope you feel better soon!!! It's been an awful long time with that cough! Barbg - hopefully you and I can keep each other on track from constantly going on and off this program, although I agree, it's easy to get back into. I think that's one of the benefits of the program, cause some you just never go back to because of the time it takes to re-learn everything. Rose - keep up the great work. I love reading "I did my O! this morning and I feel great!" Very motiviating!!!

Well, back to work... Take care everybody!

Good Morning all you Oers!

I had another great O workout this morning. I really love the L4. In fact I like every exercise on it. You know how some of the videos have a few exercises you don't like well this one I like all of them that's probably why I enjoy it so much. I ordered the Abs/Upper body video and I'll let you know how it is once I get it.

Barbg-I think you'll like the facelit part of the LL. Like I said it doesn't require you to do the breath it's just accupressure ! Let me know how you like it.

Juliette-That's a great idea with the stickers ! That will keep you going. It will be too sad to see a day without a bright little sticker on it ! Thanks for the complement. It's hard sometimes, like this morning, to get up and do it but I'm always so glad that I did once I'm through. It really is a great way to start your day. Keep it up Juliette. You motivate me too !

Okay everybody else. I know you're out there. Susan R are you around? I know you are a busy lady. Check in when you can. Do you have the Abs/upper body video? If so do you like it. Meme, how are you doing? Check in please. Daisy, my friend told me that it counts for only about 1 point at most because it's so low impact. It wouldn't matter to me seeing that you get such good results when you do it. Maybe just add a little strength training and aerobics to your routine. I use O with my other exercises too and it just helps you to get quicker results.

Okay I have to get to work. Take care everyone !
