Default Slowly losing weight, but need to keep the motivation going!

First I started at around 270. Slowly over the course of probably 2 years I lost down to 240. Only a couple of people have noticed. Now I'm 230 and and hope to keep losing. Still most people don't notice any difference, even ones I don't see regularly. Anyway, The first amount of weight was lost through exercise. Now I'm trying to steady my diet. I have a long way to go. I feel over whelmed but motivated.

You are doing awesome!!!

I started higher than you and it took me about 60lbs for anyone to notice. And then when they did notice, they asked about my hair (did I get it cut or change style?) or said something about my eyes (did I do my make-up different?). They knew something was different!

Hang in there!! Once 1 person notices, everyone is sure to follow. Plus the warmer weather is coming so we won't be hiding our new skinnier bodies under sweaters and coats!!

Lol I do love winter so I can wear coats.. The temp gets so high here that it makes it difficult. Wow, you've lost so much weight, that is really a motivation!

Story of my life! I know how this feels, even when I tell people how much I've lost. No congrats, no comments on how I look. It's so frustrating.

Anyway. Yeah, the dieting and the exercise can be overwhelming at times, but as long as you persevere you will come out on top! Keep it up, you are doing great so far

Hey, you are LOSING weight. Regardless of how slowly it's going, keep tweaking what you're doing! Just think how many people must have started losing weight when you did, but regained it all with interest... It's often said that KEEPING the weight off is hardest, so combine that with the fact you're still getting smaller and see what an achievement it is!

One thing I try to remember when it's going slowly is: if you're pointing in the right direction, and time is passing, success is inevitable. It really is only a matter of time. Focus on what you can do to point yourself in the right direction today, in this moment.

The time will pass on its own
