Default Advice...

I am on my third week of my dieting... In the past, before my tubal ligation was done I definately would have already lost a bunch... Well, the first week I went from 188 to 180....the second week (the one that just past) I was on my period, so I stayed at 180... well, this is the third week and my last day of my period was Sunday, but I am still at 180... I am exercising and only eating 1400 calories a day, but the scale won't budge... by now, I would be at 175... Is it even possible to lose weight when you had a tubal ligation done? I just get so frustrated...

JMO, 8 lbs in one week is a HUGE loss in itself. I know it's been easier in the past but our bodies change over time. Hang in there. 1-2 lbs a week is ideal.

the tubal ligation has nothing to do with your weight loss. if you'd had a hysterectomy, then that would have an impact bec you've lost your ovaries and your hormones are messed up.

are you on any meds?

...nope, not on any meds...it's just weird how so much has changed after it....but I think you all are right.....one or two lbs a week is best...(I read that it stays off that way too)....I'm just soooo impatient.... and grouchy because I miss my food sometimes.....but I can do this... I am not going to give up! these past couple of days have been hard for me....I will get through this! Thank you all for your help!
