Hello!
My name is Heather, and I am 25 years old. I've done this thing before, called dieting. I lost 50 pounds doing it too. Then, that faithful thing called stress got to me and I gained 45 of it back. Hurrah for stress, right?
So I tried dieting again, and again, and again. It never worked, and it wasn't because I was stuck at my weight, but because temptation sits next door. Hello donuts!
Anyway. I'm letting this be the last time I "diet" and I won't even call it that. I'm going about it with portion control. Because I can't control my temptations, but I can control how much I eat. Hello brownies!
I'm setting myself up with mini goals, and the first one is to lose 30 pounds by 1/1/12. And I'm going to succeed. This time I have backup in that I have friends losing weight with me in the real world and I'm using the virtual world for more support. The more, the better.
I started this diet on Monday, and already lost 12 pounds. Unless my scale is lying to me, in which case that's just mean.
