Default **Weekly Chat 22 November - 28 November**

Hey ladies!

I don't think I've ever actually said out loud to anyone that I hate Mondays, usually because I've never really felt that way about the day before - but this morning I woke up, snoozed my alarm for 40 minutes, finally clambered over my boyfriend and out of bed and mumbled at him "I hate Mondays.".

I don't know if I will hate every Monday, but I am hating Mondays at the moment. It's the middle of my working week (or in this case...nearing the end being that I worked more) and it's also the beginning of my 2 longest work days. It's the end of sleeping in even a little bit for a few mornings, it's when I feel the most tired and grumpy. Urgh.

Anyway, that being said, now that it's after midday and I've lived through a few hours of Monday, I feel slightly more positive. Only slightly. I'm still super tired and I want more sleep. I have no lunch so I'll have to buy something. I have to work myself up to working out after work.

I am at 71.3kg / 157.1 pounds. I am also currently starving, so I'm going to go and see what I can find for lunch. My options are limited and I always hate having to buy stuff because of that. Urgh.

Personals from the end of last week's chat:

Kawaii I've had plateaus of about 3 weeks and then they start to shift...is there anything you think you could change in your plan that might get things moving again? The Monopoly is weird...we just decided to play haha.

JL Congrats on your loss!

mybigwish Sorry you woke up not feeling so well!

chubbyhippie You can fight and beat the addiction - or at least work on it. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Well this weekend I probably ate 5000 calories' worth of junk food. Total BINGE FAIL but at least it was social eating and not hiding in my room in the dark (never was one for binging alone though). The good news is that I feel so gross that I am motivated to eat nothing but fruits, vegetables, eggs and yogurt today. I was up to 59.0 kg/130 lbs this morning. Backtracking.

My weekend was lovely aside from the food failure though. Spent it in the rural mountains of Oita enjoying splendid mountain views, outdoor natural hot springs and a mini-hike with some friends.

krampus Your weekend sounds nice! Maybe aside from the 5000 calories...but you'll get back on track.

I am currently slamming my head against a wall deciding what to get for lunch. I wanted to go 45 mins ago but got busy at work. Could go now but no idea what to buy!!

Rainbow What'd you decide on? Are you in a strip mall or a mall mall? I am feeling a bit better my parents think I might be allergic to something in my room. I dunno what the deal is though! That advil stuff worked magic though!!!

Krampus Ugh! Those weekends make you feel horrible. But you're so close to your goal it's okay to have those days!! Just like you said pick it back up and keep up your hard work. You've done so well a couple bad days won't put you back to where you were, just don't loose track.

As for me, girls I went shopping again! My most recent paycheck will ALL go to my parents for everything I bought this weekend, I really didn't spend as much as it seems but I feel like I am all shopped out! And my Victoria Secret stuff I talked about should come tomorrow!

In the food area, a little bit more sugar then I like today, but in all around 1,210 calories and that's with treating myself to some frozen yogurt for dessert. I'm happy.

Hopefully I won't have a case of the Mondays I have to get up early for work. But mines still 12 hours away, well 12 hours away from the part I'll see.

mybigwish I'm in a strip mall...kind of...hah. Definitely not a mall mall, although on days like this when I have to buy food I kind of wish I was! I'm on a main-ish street in my city so you'd think there'd be more food options...and I guess there are further down, but I don't get a real lunch break so I'm only left with what is in the direct area and with that choice, I ended up getting a mini serve of teriyaki chicken on rice from the sushi place. It's premade in plastic containers so I ate all the chicken and half the rice. Not that much food really, and I can tell - I'm still hungry! I have an apple to eat and I might get a coffee soon.
Shopping again hah! Is this after the boots and stuff? What did you get? I owe my parents as well - I had a debt of $870 NZD in June, I've gotten it down to $200 now hah, but I still want it gone. I'm just glad I've been saving lots recently due to not shopping as much! Although I did just buy concert tickets so that was a bit of a hit to my bank account!

I weighed myself yesterday and I came in at 76.6 or something. Which is not okay! I ate way too much this weekend and on friday. However, I was good on Sunday. I'm eating 1200 today to balance it out a bit. Hopefully I'm down to 74.5 by the end of the week and it's just water weight.

WOW. What a weekend. I stayed w/in my calorie ranges which is great but took a break on exercising yesterday and did only 12 minutes today. The reason I've been slacking is because I found out today I have bronchitis and fatigue has set in due to TOM being due tomorrow. The bronchitis is what is causing my breathing to be mest up and it's hard to workout and breathing weird! Oh well I did sweat a great one for that 1-mile walk/run which was right after dinner so hopefully I burnt off them calories! LOL.

MyBigWish--1,200 calories is good!
Krampus--Good weekend minus the food binge but everyone slips up!
Rainbow--Just a question how many hours ahead appx. is New Zealand from the US when it comes to the time difference?

Krampus - I feel your pain, girl. I had a binge over the weekend too. Ugh, sometimes weekends are hard. (Isn't that supposed to be the opposite? ) I am really jealous of what you did this weekend, though, I love the outdoors too.

I do have good news to share though. I am back on plan and even worked out today. Yay for me! Thanks everyone for the support so far. Just knowing that there are others out there that deal with the same things as me is nice.

elleohelle Silly sodium/water gain - just like me last week. It will go away!!

JL Urm... I'm not sure haha...just looked it up - say it's 11pm Sunday in New York City (the first place I thought of), then right here it's 5pm Monday. So I guess almost a whole day? I'm living in the future!

chubbyhippie Well done for getting back on plan and working out on a Sunday!

Sigh. It's always something isn't it? There are cookies at work today and like a robot I had a couple. Nothing to throw me off for the day but my whole "I want to prove to myself I can go a day without junk" thing is now in the trash. I also agreed to meet someone who is borderline re:tarded but really attractive for "a drink" after work. He's so stupid that "a drink" will probably become "2-3 drinks."

mybigwish 1,210 is really good, no matter what it consists of! tell us some of the stuff you bought on your shopping spree - I am living enviously and vicariously through you!

elleohelle eff scales and numbers, it was your birthday weekend! I see "that guy" did wish you a happy birthday. Good time?

rainbowstripe what concert tickets? I am going to a death metal festival in a couple weekends here, can't wait for that!

JLNichols Bronchitis, rotten. get well soon and be careful!

chubbyhippie aw, thanks. It was really nice to be out in the wilderness. good work being on plan and back on track today!

Krampus Well I got in the car to come home from American Eagle yesterday and realized I had gotten an email for 20% off two days only! So, I HAD to go back today and get a price adjust which lead to.
-Jeggings Size 8 (the ones I mentioned)
- Purple and Grey thermal (AE from yesterday)
-Plaid/Flannel flats that have an UGG like lining
-Two Thermals from Target (9 bucks each)
-a really cute means shirt from target that has the cast of Sesame Street and says "All my homies are from the street"
-A long button up black chemile (sp--the really soft blanket like material) sweater (I have a green one that's like it and it's sooo soft)
-Gloves

I think that's it from today. I really really need to take a break for awhile or I'll have no money to pay my bills because of all the money I'm spending now. But shopping makes the whole world happy right?

JL (I know Krampus said something about this too) Thanks about the calories. I know 1,210 is good It's basically my goal, not to go under since it's not healthy but to stay just about on the dot! I've now had four days on plan and feel great! Also feel better! Don't over work yourself with illness the cough will start to get worse.

Rainbow I'm three hours later then New York it'd only be 9 here when it's midnight there so you're literally like 23 hours head of me.

sounds very warm and practical! I wish I bought things like that for myself but when I shop I just buy truckloads of skanky going-out tops and party dresses that I'll wear once!

chubbyhippie, oh yeah, i know some people can be like that. no, my friend was good. and she's a skinny *****, too. lol. i always tell her "man... your legs are so skinny... i hate you!" lol. we went shopping and she played the role of my barbie doll so i could live vicariously through her. fun times

rainbow, haha, i pretty much always hate mondays. and it's kinda funny cuz yesterday my friend and i went karaoke and she sang a song called "i don't like mondays" and i kept humming it to myself all the way to school this morning. lol. i'm fine now though. yeah, plateaus majorly suck. hopefully it's on the way out if 3 weeks is normal cuz it's been 3 weeks already!!

so yeah, this morning, i weighed myself and saw 78.4 on the scale. it's not my first time seeing it, and even if it is an actual loss, it's only of .2, which isn't much really, but i'll take it! it's my first time seeing it on a weekday, so maybe it's here to stay! (apparently i weigh less on the weekends... i think it's cuz i weigh myself after longer periods of sleep, thus longer periods of no-food...) hopefully it'll go down a bit more so that i can break this stupid plateau and move my ticker!!

i'm gonna take a break from exercising tonight because i did 30DS for 3 days in a row this weekend, and i'm really tired! i'm a bit sore today too... so little break. i'll 3 to go 3 days in a row again from tomorrow, see if i can do it. man, level 2 is really killing me!! i dont feel like it's so hard, persay, but it makes me sweat so much! and i am just so dead at the end! lol. i guess that's a good thing though...

krampus Hope the drinks are fun! I got tickets to go see Sufjan Stevens - completely the opposite of a death metal festival, but that also sounds really fun!

mybigwish Sweet shopping haul! I think you miscalculated with the time - I think I'm 21 hours ahead rather than 23? I dunno, time and numbers confuse me.

Kawaii Hah about the song! I don't know if there is such a thing as "normal" when it comes to plateaus, I just know that if I have one, they usually last for 3 weeks, and I've had a couple so far. I also didn't really do anything different to get out of them if I recall...except once I had a meal at a restaurant that was definitely a lot bigger and lost the next week.

I, like Kawaii, am also taking a break from exercise. I didn't exercise all weekend, and now it's Monday and I'm not again. I definitely will go to my Zumba class after work tomorrow, but today - I am completely exhausted. Everyone seems to have decided it's time to do Christmas shopping, and so many people have decided to come to the store I work in. Working sole-charge when it's this busy makes the time both short and long...I swear I just worked for 2 days in the last 8.5 hours...so I'm not exercising. I also didn't eat enough today, so I'm feeling a little weak and don't have time to wait for something to digest before exercising and then dinner...and basically it's ok. I've been eating low levels of calories for over a week now so it's probably good to change things around a bit. I also have this weird extra painful slow throbbing pain in my neck...but I'm hoping that goes away.
So now I'm just waiting for dinner, no idea what it is, catching up on some internet stuff. Boyfriend is probably at uni slaving away at the gym haha. Man am I glad Monday is nearly over - although this week is not looking so fun overall!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had an amazing weekend.

mybigwish: Love your shopping spree list. I actually need to start buying some winter clothes. All I've gotten recently are workout clothes.

rainbow: Sorry to hear about your neck. Maybe you slept in a weird position? What are your plans for dinner?

JL: TOM always drains me and naps are a must. I hope you get over the bronchitis soon.

Since I had nothing to do today, I ended up watching Harry Potter. I kept picturing how small they all were in the first movie. Tomorrow, I'm going to try to do a morning spin class since I really enjoy the instructor who is teaching. Hopefully I can drag myself to the gym in time.
