This Weekend, to Stay On Plan I am going to...

  • I want to make a list of things I can do to stay on plan this weekend. I tend to be a little lax on the weekends, but I want to do better!

This weekend, I am going to "pack" my meals for the day as if I am getting ready for work.

Tomorrow morning, my sister and I have plans to go jogging together.
  • I NEED THIS!

This weekend, I am going to
-eat out ONLY if i can make sure the meal is under 500 cals
    -workout
-track calories as if it were a weekday

    ....here goes nothin.
  • i'm going to make sure i exercise both saturday & sunday - either in the gym or outside. heck, even at home! no eating out unless i've planned for it. that & drink plenty of water!
  • This weekend I am going to eat veggies first.
  • Exercise! And drink plenty of water...
  • Ooo - drinking plenty of water is a good one. I have to focus so hard on that that it usually distracts me from eating!
  • This weekend I am going to work in the yard, which will be extra activity in addition to my regular exercise. I will eat on plan, walk or ride the bike each day. I will also try to find some quiet time for my mentals to catch a break.

  • Thank you for posting this thread. Weekends are my Kryptonite.

    My weekend plan...

    Friday

*Three mile run then dinner party. (Hopefully the run will remind myself to not overeat)

*Then go out dancing at a warehouse party. Adhere to a 2 drink limit, which won't be hard

    Saturday

    *Go for an easy run.

*Get bike out of storage and take a leisure ride.

*Food: Lots of fruits and veggies & milk for calcium

    Sunday

*Try to go for a run- if too sore, go for a long walk

    *Short bike ride

    *Food: Same as Saturday

*Go to bed early. Busy workweek ahead.

I'll let y'all know how it goes.
  • I've already kiked it off healthy by NOT going to happy hour after work. I plan to have a date with Jillian later. The tomorrow I'm running and going to kickboxing. Sunday I plan to try Bodypump for the first time. And I will eat within my calorie range ALL weekend!
