  • My husband and I want to start to TTC in May, my goal is to have lost all the baby weight I have put on from the first two pregnancies, before I get pregnant again, so that means going from 161 to 120. I have until May 1st to do this, so this is my May Day Challenge. I know its a long way off but, my motivation is getting to my end result.

  • Wow, nobody here???? Maybe it seems to far off??? I do have a May goal, though my dates are a little different. My end date would be May 27th. This challenge is for 23 weeks!!!! Join me if your up to it :d

  • Hello All this thread will probably increase when chicks realize that spring is approaching I'd like to join. Come spring I would like to be pretty close to goal. Ive fallen off the wagon a number of times. I would really like to stick it out and see where I end up in may. Thats five months to get myself together

  • Hi Matilda08, thanks for joining me. I thought I was going to be all alone in this one . I agree after the first of the year and all of the NY resolutions, people will start posting.
    I'm sure you'll do fine. Baby steps.....one foot in front of the other, at least thats what I do. Some days are better than others but you just keep on keeping on :d. And remember that May is the door way to summer
  • THanks bigmomma! I always join challenges and never stick with them. Im going to really try to stick to this one and see what happens. I think my goal is really reasonable so we will see how it goes. Good luck!

    That would be awesome. I really wanted to be at 178 by the time we leave, but I don't want to push it and make my self sick. I am also hoping to have a body fat % of 30. Today I was 41.6% Lots of hard work, but it will pay off.

    we CAN do this! Time just flies by, before we know it, summer will be here!!! Toning up for swim suits and shorts will be a high priority on my list .
  • Hey, I'll join you. My oldest graduates from high school this spring and I'd love to be 15-20 pounds lighter by graduation party time. My weigh-in days will be Mondays.

  • Merry Christmas to all of you also. We are having a snow storm right now and its not gonna end til after xmas! Its gonna be a white xmas, I haven't seen one of those in years.
  • May Day is close enough to my goal day (April 30th), so I'll jump in! Ideally, I would like to lose about 2lbs. a week. 30ish pounds in four months isn't extreme, I don't think.

    This is just a tentative scale. If I'm somewhere between 195-200 by April 30th, then I'll be extremely happy. Not only would I reach my mini-goal of getting under 200lbs., but that means I would be 5-10 pounds away from my doctor's goal weight for me and 15-20 pounds away from my personal goal weight (well, I'll see about those extra ten pounds once I reach 190).
