Hey team, I can't wait for this thing to get started! I never did well on diets, and if I ever did lose any weight it was from starving myself! You all know how that ended up. I finally started losing weight the right way and am totally motivated to do so.
Just to let you guys know a little about myself . . .
My name is Heather, I'm 20yrs old, and I live in TX. I used to be extremely active in soccer and swimming, but not any more :P. Right now I am counting calories and exercising every day. My exercise routines consist of BL cardio EVERYDAY, dancing, and I recently started to vigorously clean my apt everyday for some extra fat burning!
I'm very into graphic design so I might try and make a sig banner for the team. I have an idea, but i'm not much into gryphons, so its going to be some other design with the words "team gryphon" or something ^^.
Banner1:
My name is Robin and im 24 by the way married with 3 little ones :-D i don't have much to lose but im going to KICK BUTT in the exercise challenges! go team go!!
Hey everyone! I'm 27 with two little ones going to college full time. I am down to the last 10-15 lbs and i need to get some motivation. Eating right isn't really my problem, its the working out part so i'm hoping this challenge will give me a good kick in the right direction.
I'm turning 20 in about 20 days, lol. Currently working on my marketing degree. No kids, too young for that. But I do have 2 dogs, 2 ferrets, 1 snake, an eal and a clown fish. Along with a bird and a cat.
And that is why I am not allowed to visit shelters or pet stores XD
lol Dizzysoi -- that's exactly why I don't visit shelters either! my hands are nowhere near as full as yours though... just 2 cats and a dog.
Hi Everyone!!! I'm 26 from Ontario, Canada, and was thrilled to see my weight this morning at 180.2 lbs. This is an increase of 4 lbs since before the holidays -- but i thought it would be much more! so I'll take it.
I'm aiming to take off 20 lbs with a final deadline of June 27th, 2009. No messing around anymore, it's gotta come off for the big day! And I have to do it early enough so that I learn to maintain it right on through to the rest of my life. Activity is my big sore spot along with controlling food on the weekends. (alcohol, pub food, restaurants, i can go on...)
I still have yet to figure out what we're actually supposed to be doing for this challenge, so I'll get back to you all on that one once I get on a computer that lets me see the images.
Let's get at 'er girls! No new year's resolutions here -- just healthy living!
I'm 25 and live in the SF Bay Area, California. Married, no kids, 4 dogs.
Dizzy - I totally miss my ferrets and envy you getting to play with them every day.
I'm looking to lose 100 pounds total but, obviously, not in this challenge's time frame. I've been watching my portions and eating right because I just go over being sick with some intestinal thing. So I wasn't in the mood much for food and just decided to stick to that diet.
I got new running shoes for christmas and I'm eager to get out there.
I'm currently going to school for a bachelor's degree in communications and later hoping to get my master's in Human Sexuality with a side emphasis on nutrition/health, if I can.
Currently I work full time as a legal secetary and have a part time job as a romance party consultant.
Well lets see a little bit about myself the names Courtney and im 20 years young. Im about halfway to my initial goal weight that im hoping to meet by my 21st birthday in july! Im a calorie counter but sadly i have been slacking lately. I will be going back to school in the fall for physical therapy. I dont hate working out but getting to the gym is the problem.
I know this isnt a weight loss challenge but i think im gunna make a goal of losing 8lbs by the end of this challenge.
Acrimony- Im a romance consultant as well. Do you go through Pure Romance?

Courtney, nope, I'm with For Your Pleasure. it's a fun business, isn't it?
I'm with you on the going to the gym thing. I signed up but if I didn't have an appointment with a personal trainer I wasn't going. And that PT costs money.
At this point in time I'm planning on getting in lots of activity minutes by walking the dogs then jogging the dogs and finally running the dogs. If I take each one out one at a time, the route puts me at 5.83 miles total.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I really want to sign up for the 3-day breast cancer walk in October. But it's like $90 for processing and then I have to raise $2300. I think raising the money will be easier than paying the $90.
I am 24(25 in May), married, 1 2yr old son, 2 dogs, and a cat. I work full time as a Office Assistant at an accounting firm, so my busy season is starting.
I'm not on any plan. I just try to eat plenty of fruit and veggies during the day and nothing horrible for me. I try to workout at least 5 days a week. I have many videos at home I use.
acrimony - they're hilarious but my keys and anything plastic always goes missing sometime through out the day. XD
HA! They stole all my socks once and hid them in the netting below my box spring under my bed. But we didn't know anything was in there because we saw them run under the bed and then magically disappear. They had an old cast, business cards, paper towel rolls.
And one of them, Twitch, liked to climb up the back of my drawers in my old dresser and sleep in the clean socks. She learned to do that from the cat. So I'd have the cat in one drawer and two ferrets in the other. Made for warm underwear, though.

ok, for this whole challenge, I swear I will not let one drop of alcohol touch these lips. Seriously it kills all my progress.
I hear ya girl. Alki is a definite weight-loss killer
