Welp....here we are...a new week ready for action? Well, my buttmovin for today is 15 minutes on the treadmill, then a step video... a changeup from the treadmill workouts alone :-)

Walked an Asthma-free Mile today in 25 minutes with DH in 30 degree weather with a face-burning wind.. Now that's motivation!! But I HAVE to do it. I need to get my lungs in shape!!

I got pneumonia a year ago in the fall.. and have never really recovered from it as far as lung function goes. I've been bad about exercising because in the past when I've tried I've gotten bad asthma attacks before I get to the end of my street. I've been SO glad that this time I'm doing ok, and can even go out in the cold and exercise with NO attacks and NO inhalers!!! (a miracle for me!!!) I'm not sure why I'm not having problems, but I sure am glad. Need to keep working hard though!! I am definately still out of breath by the time we get back. Once I can do 1 mile without being winded we'll up it to 1.5, then 2, etc. My goal is 2 miles by the end of march.

Here we go to getting those butts moving!!!!

Ok, so my butt didn't get movin the way it should have yesterday but I did get out to the park to run around with the kid a bit... today is indoor exercises, lunges and all that good stuff..whoohoo.... and I think before dinner, I'm gonna grab hubby and the baby, and stroll around the block a couple times, since we're having AWESOME weather, for once :-)

Ow!! I hope you are ok.. the last time I fell in my driveway I actually tore my rotator cuff, and never knew it.

I did NOT get my butt moving yesterday. I was depressed, un-motivated, and my computer at home was very sick and needed to have the hard drive wiped out, so I sat on my butt all night.

I must get out for a walk tonight!!!

Gosh, I started the thread, and I haven't moved my butt much at all, been terribly down, wiggling my little toe took a lot of energy, let alone butt movin'. So, I'll be back on for Monday, trying to shake this off fully now....

I've been walking fairly regularly but now I want to start stretching and doing toning exercises everyday. It won't take more than about 20 minutes and you wouldn't believe how lazy I have been about it. Also I am supposed to lift weights 3 times a week and haven't lived up to that either. Well baby steps right? I'm working my way up to all of this now that I have got the walking under control. Last night I rode my exercise bike for 30 minutes and did my stretching and toning so I get 1

Thursday - Nothing
Friday - Nothing
Saturday - 30 min Step Aerobics
Sunday - Nothing

Well, it's not the best, I won't make excuses, I'll just do better!!

Jen - Good job on the walking, I think once you can get in the habit, it's so much easier. I'm hoping this spring/summer to get in a walk on most nights, I'm such a baby about walking in the cold! I want to add weights in too, but I am really trying to just get in the habit of working out 6 days a week, then I will add it. I was looking at the Body for life book over the weekend, Maybe after Baby #2, I will go wild and get buff!!!

nasus40 - You seem to be doing a very good job on moving every day! Keep up the good work!

PNG - So are we ready to move today?? Feeling Better??

BethAnne - How have you been doing?

Was out of town this past week. Lost half a pound for the week... but I'm not complaining... could have been worse (always a little slippery when I travel). Am back now and ready for action!

Goal: 5 workouts this week; 30 minutes each

You all have me so motivated, I'm gonna do 30 min of toned-down taibo tonight. (The downstairs neighbors are just going to have to live with a little thumping and bumping.) You all are wonderful, and are doing such great things! I'm gonna do a little butt wigglin in your honor!

(I hope that didn't come off sounding as weird as it did in my head.
