I sure got this butt moving today
Today I got my butt moving big time. I do a Mountain Trail program on my treadmill and there is an area of 6 minutes at walking at incline 1 and a speed of 4. I have been doing intervals in this 6 minutes between running and walking. Well today I can say I ran at a speed of 5 for 1 of those minutes. That is a big accomplishment for me.
Monday - TM - 30 mins, 7 laps, 1.75 miles, 337 calories
Tuesday - 2 miles with Leslie Sansone Walking video
Wednesday - TM - 30 mins, 7 laps, 1.75 miles, 338 calories
Thursday
Friday

I'm so happy to be able to post here. Today, I took a two mile walk and did it in 41:52 and that includes stopping for a few and talking with fisherman. Now, as long as I do this 2x more this week, I'm all set. Today, after kids are in bed, will do 1/2 hour of weight training.

OK, well, I got my 30 minutes in... ten minutes at a steady pace, 10 minute doing intervals every 2 minutes, 5 minutes steady, 5 minutes cool down.... plus 25 minutes of stretching... so I have officially moved butt today :-D

i can post again!
It's funny--I avoid coming here, to this site entirely, when I'm not doing the kind of things I want to be doing. I only come when I'm being good!
Anyway, for Monday, you can mark me down for 35 min on the elliptical machine and the leg machines--inner thigh, outer thigh, and hamstrings.
Love to everybody.

Well, my butt did not move as much as everyone else's did, but despite the fact that I did NOT want to exercise, I forced myself to do 10 min. step aerobics. I hope to do 25-30 minutes tonight!

Go Nasus! Congrats on taking a risk and going running, even if it's going to be "interesting."
And Sweetcakes, go on with your bad self. You're kickin butt! (Unintentional pun.)
Posting in this thread is like a little way to congratulate myself for doing good. So pats on the back all around.
For today, 16 min on the reclining bike, 14 min on the straight bike, 30 situps.

Well, no butt moving for me yesterday, but I finally got some decent sleep last night, crawled out of bed before 9 this morning, so hopefully, today will be a good workout day for me... also trying something new with the food, since I've been slipping a bit... I'll be back to post my movin later :-)
