OK have some time now to actually post. How was everyones new years eve? Mine was calorie filled and splended. Went to a friends house and we had king crab, shrimp, fondue, home made hot wings...I tried my hand at making an upside down apple tart but messed it up completely. The butter sticks read oz's and I needed 1/4 cup butter. Somewhere along the way I used 2 whole sticks or about 4 times more than it called for. Still was pretty good but omg so much fat! Was the last dessert for quite some time though. I am going to see how long I can go in 2007 without sweets. I have a cruise in April I am now behaving for lol.

Steph: Glad to know that you had a good New Years Eve! Personally I'm glad the holiday season is over! That's awesome about the cruise! Something to motivate you in the new year!

Amber: Good job on not eating anything....that's hard! Hopefully you will have a productive 2007!

New Years Eve was kind of bad for me! We ordered Pizza! I haven't gone grocery shopping yet and we had NOTHING in the house. I had a veggie pizza, no meat, so it wasn't too bad, and I only had 2 slices.

I'm determined to find an exercise program that will keep me motivated and that I don't have to spend a fortune on. Was thinking of doing the 'Walk Away the Pounds' program...anyone tried it? I have no room in my apartment for exercise equipment, so I figured..why not! I also have to learn how to drink more water...still not hackin' that one! ARGH! But I haven't gained a pound during the holidays...at least as of yet, so that's a good thing! My parents surprised us with a trip to Disneyworld in May, so I have 4 months to get my *** in gear and look good in a bathing suit! LOL!

Pizza, we ordered that on Saturday.. That was part of my not eating so peachy this weekend.. and i had some amaretto & diet pepsi's.. yum!!

Walked for half an hour on my treadmill already today..i felt VERY ill suddenly almost at the end of the half hour.. dunno what came over me.. I am hoping to do a DVD later tonight.. we'll see if i can get the tv downstairs for about 45mins or not.. i'd REALLY like to do it.

Amanda.. Veggie Pizza sounds yummy! Where'd you get it?! That's awesome that your parents surprised you with a trip to Disneyworld, that's awesome!

Steph.. your cooking mistake is exactly something i would do! LOL Glad it still turned out tasty..mine usually doesn't turn out that way..

Amber: We got the pizza at a place here called Pizzaville. I had never ordered from there before but we had a cupon thingy from the mail, so we got a good deal! The pizza had tomatoes, onions, peppers, black olives, mushrooms, gourmet garlic.... it was SO good! Definately ordering from there again!

All you lucky girls going on vacation! I don't care what anyone says. Looking good for a vacation may be the best possible motivation for not only losing weight, but shaping up!

I am so sick of weather. We got stranded in the middle of nowhere Nebraska at DB's parents during an ice storm (and lost all power). I had never seen one before- scary stuff! I was also stuck eating a very strict meat and potato and cookie diet so I went back and forth from being starving to just feeling ill. In the middle of it though, his mom and I went to her little old lady gym (kinda like Curves but for older women) and worked out. I looked a little out of place in my new under armour (woo hoo!), but it felt so good to just MOVE. I tested out my Under Armour Cold Gear in the freezing rain as well and it works amazingly well and is super comfy (I will have to get used to the skin-tight efeect of the top, tho). We just got back to civilization and boy am I relieved.

Amanda- I hear that WATP is a great way for the anti-exerciser to get started and I have considered investing in it myself to keep me occupied during the winter as I can do it in my apartment. I think it's good for limited space as well.

Ambylyn- amaretto and diet pepsi. I recently discovered amaretto- I will have to try this out!

Stpehanie- Glad to see you back, girl! Is that you and DH in the pic? Very cute and that is one **** of a tan!

I was sooo excited when I saw 70! LOL 170 isn't too bad considering the alternative. HOnestly though, I just try to avoid it all together, i get ill after eating it.. i dunno why i ate it on saturday but i did..and i paid for it later.. lol.

I will look into that fit & delicious pizza though.. it surely can't taste terrible.. Thanks

June: What have you had amaretto with? Maybe i'd be interested..i've just discovered it myself,YUMMY! if you don't mind sharing.

Made a bit of a mistake, and ordered chinese for everyone. I ended up eating a bit too much on new years....and just finished eating some leftovers... more than a serving of rice with yum yum sauce...Not a very good late night 'healthy' decision... =/ BUT, I have forgiven myself, and I am ready to move on.

New Year's was good for me. It started snowing at 4pm, so I decided just to stay in for the night and watch movies. I was going to go out, but I really didn't want to because I knew I would end up drinking and I didn't want to. It's so dangeroue to go out and drink anyway, with all of the crazy drunk drivers out there.

I'm so glad to hear about that Pizza Hut Fit and Delicious. It sounds really good, I will have to try it sometime.

Ok so had an interesting new years. Made a huge feast then decided to enter into a wager with some friends. There is another couple who is going on the cruise with us in April and we are doing sort of a Guys vs. Girls Biggest Loser to see who can drop the most body fat % by then. Losers have to wear a thong on the beach lol. So we all were weighing in and I figured I was probably back up to around 128 or 129 lbs…what a shocker when 135.2 was staring back at me. Alright enough slacking I have to get my butt in gear lol!

Getting off early today to spend a little time with the Hubby. Need to go running poste haste…

Amblyn – cruising is so fun! I know this will be your year chica!

Mickey – Ooh never been to Disney world but I bet you will have a blast. Want to look great in all those pictures too!

June – Gotta love that scruffy Dave pic, ooh la la. I hear ya chickie I am sick of snow! Yeah that is me an DH, believe it or not that is the pasty version of Stephie. Winter time lol taken a week ago. You should see my tan in the summer. I am part Japanese so my skin stays pretty olive. Hey I think I am going to sign up for the Niketown 5k in May downtown you want in?

TTlina – Isnt the pledge always to lose weight lol. Fireworks are my fave sounds like you had a good time.

Muzik – sometimes you just have to move on. Smart of you to realize that. Just be good the rest of this week lol.

Thintowin – We had two blizzards here in CO in the last two weeks and more snow in the forecast!

So I'm checking back in again! Things are getting better since the last time I was here. I'm thinking of making a new blog for the year, a fresh start. And I like the layout of some of your blogs a lot better than mine so I think it would be easier just to switch servers...

I guess I haven't been waiting for new years to start back seriously focusing on being healthy. I started making baby steps earlier, but it was hard to cut out alcohol very late nights when I was at home (away from school) and thats all anyone wants to do. Despite the baby steps, I went shopping for business casual clothes for my upcoming semester and... uguuhhh... Gimme three weeks at least before I try that again.

Stephie- Your icon is so cute. I haven't seen that one yet, but I've been mia for a whiiiile so I don't know how new it is.. My new years eve was really fun. I went to a party and the champange was flowing.

Amanda- Two slices of veggie pizza for new years? That sounds pretty good for me. A relatively healthy splurge. And yes.. I'm so glad the holiday season is over too. Now we can all get back to focusing on bein "good."

junebug- Wow, under armour is some serious stuff! I think I would feel a little out of place in an older woman gym too, but at least you're back now!
