Default WW & Core newbie

Hello, this is my first post to this group. I'm Laurie. My bio is posted if you care to read it. I started WW today; signed up online. The core program seems so sensible to me, I feel it's the way for me to go. I am happy to be here and I am excited to get to know you all.

Hi Laurie and Welcome to the Core Support Board! I wish you much luck on the Core Program and hope you come often to the Support Board and chat with us. I don't know if you've read any of the posts, but we are a very nice group of Women all struggling on the same journey. I really get lots of support and advice here. I go to a weekly meeting, which I enjoy very much, but these ladies here are the ones who get me through the week.

I enjoyed reading your Bio and look forward to chatting.

BTW, I'm in Tinley Park.

Welcome, Laurie!! You and Vickie are neighbors!!

I'm looking forward to getting to know you too -- it seems like so many of us have similarities ... namely the weight issues that go with being in our late 40s! We'll get there together though, so just hang around and ask questions if you need to! We all have NO problem at all handing out advice to each other!!

Yes, late 40's and weight issues YUCK. I remember in high school and college if I wanted to lose 5-10 pounds all I had to do was skip a meal or two...

I still can't get over the fact that the older you get, the less food you get and the more exercise you need to do. Bummer!
