Happy Sunday everyone. I was sticking to plan great until last night. DH wanted chinese food, so we went. I was planning on making a core dinner. I was careful what I ate -- logged it into my etools. I used 19 pts with dinner!!! Its a good thing I've not been using any at all. I'm drinking a ton of water today so I should be OK. I don't dare weigh myself for a couple of days.

Sandra - congrats on getting rid of that cake. Its a good thing you had a long drive!

Rhonda - glad you had a nice night out.

Nancy - Welcome back! Its nice to see you posting again. I'm also trying to get back to goal by Christmas - lets work this together!

MaryAnn - how is the weather on the Cape? The sun is actually coming out here - patches of blue sky! It seems likes its been raining forever. We're far enough from the coast that Kyle won't bother us. I hope things are OK with you and Leo.

Well, since its finally not raining, I'm going for a walk. I did realized over the past 2 days of torential rain, the coats I had that used to be water resistant are no longer. Took dd to a fair at out church yesterday. I was soaked going from the car to the church. Went to LL Bean and got a nice 3 in 1 jacket. Of course that will guarantee it won't rain for a while...

Oh, wanted to share my 0 point egg sandwich I made this morning. I found a whole wheat pita that 1 whole is 1 pt, and 1/2 is zero. I mad a nice breakfast sandwhich with lean ham, ff cheese and a scrambled egg. It was a nice change.

Paula, where did you find that pita? I'm hoping that I can find it around here somewhere.

Maryann, I am both a chocoholic and a carbaholic. You're right. We need to measure.

Rhonda, Wednesday is Curtis' birthday. I am expecting some challenges eatingwise. Wed is my "first" day of my WW week. That'll help some.

The grands came over and fished some today after church. Kennedy caught a bass and Alexa caught a catfish. You should have seen the looks on their faces.

Hi Ladies:)

I found something that you all can chew on. Its Morning Star meal started with chicken & beef made from soy. I cooked the chix in the micro for 45 seconds and than added some ketchup for taste.I think it makes a great low carb snack for watching TV.




PAULA-We didn't have any rain or winds like they predicted and I missed church because of it. We had torrential rains yesterday afternoon & last night but nothing this morning.Leo & are relazing this weekend watching the end of the golf tournament.


SANDRAI use the Weight Watchers pita that only have 1 pt and the English Muffins have 1 pts also.If I don't measure I can go way over,eyeballing. The core method of tracking your hunger doesn't work for me. Have to find other means of tracking.

RHONDA-I have to look on the computer and find out about this guy Lang Lang.I love:love: to listen to good music.Thanks for sharing.

Sandra, the pita is from my grocery store deli section -- its a "low Carb" type. Whole wheat and added flax. Check your store for whole wheat pitas. I've also found a whole wheat tortilla that has the added flax for extra fiber. Those are 1 pt as well. The brand is Jospeh's. Not sure if its a North East brand or national. HTH

Hello Everyone,

Is it May yet???? Just kidding it's been a long day. Friday and Saturday DH was doing really well they even upgraded him to solid food :D. But for your first meal in 5 days B-B-Q beef, probably not the best choice. He only ate half, and then half of the chicken-pot-pie they served for dinner, but still was up most of the night sick. And then nauseous all day so he didn't get up or eat anything. I finally got him up around 8:30 and we went for a walk (to the end of the ward and back), he actually was moving better, just feeling worse :?: We're still hoping that he'll get to come home on Tues or Wed. What am I saying I like that there are professionals taking care of him, when he comes home it'll be all me baby.....

On a WW note, I lost 0.8 last week :D That's great for me on a non TOM week so I'm pretty happy. I made good choices on Friday and Saturday, however tonight my SIL was supposed to come to the hospital visit DH and then take me to dinner. But since he wasn't doing so well she decided to let him rest, so I caved and had pizza. I have counted it and am moving on....

Sammi - my b-day is the 19th. :congrat: on the 4.2 :D

Sandra - :yay: on giving the cake away :yay: That's awsome.

Sloan - started my socks yesterday, it's pretty fun, and small enough to fit in my purse. We'll see how I feel after I've turned the heel (next week's class) we started at the cuff.

I have been eating too much on core this week. I may have to start journaling again. Seems I have a bottomless pit in my tummy.

Good Morning lovelies! For some reason these past two weeks I have found myself binging on the weekend on junk then once Monday rolls around I stick strictly to the Core, don't eat as much and workout twice a day to burn off all the crap I ate before and hope that I will be OK when I weigh in on Saturday. This is getting frustrating and I don't know why I'm picking up this habit.

Donna- I second you on wanting it to be May! 0.8 is still a great weight loss :) Keep it up

Paula- Thank you for sharing the recipe. It sounds delish!

Hi Ladies:)

I must have caught the sleepless night disease.Had it bad tossing & turning and having hot flashes that I had to kick the covers off. Woke up late this morning and now everything I planned for the day is going to be either put on hold or done later on this afternoon.

One thing I'm happy about that I sneaked peaked on the scale and I'm down a couple of pounds since I started the WP on Friday.Hopefully it will go down further by Thursday's W-I,and if that the case I will have to watch my grain carbs now & in the future.

PAULA-You're right about the Joseph Brand I for got about them when on WW.I used to use them when I was low carbing.

DONNA-Sorry to hear your DH is nauseous and doesn't want to eat. May they could give him ensure .Leo was now that until he got his appetite back. Good News about your weight loss You're doing great even under this stress of having your DH in the hospital.


SAMMI-That happens to all of us from time to time. Weekend are the worse for me also,even though I retired and home all the time. Its the TV that I watch with mindless eating and snacking. I beat that a couple of weeks ago by having raw veggies with ff dress on them while watching the TV. I started to eat soy beef & chix from Morning Star meal starters and put ketchup on them for taste. I found protein satisfying the hunger mode.



Have to go get my dinner started

Hi Everyone
Just getting on here.
My weekend was ok. Eating was not good.
Went to a wedding reception. I did eat the green beans before we left. And drank water. But I had a hard time eating the food there. I ate two bite size pepperoni rolls. And then for the dinner part. I had some ham, 2 meatballs, a big spoon of green beans, and 4 penna pasta with tomatoe sauce. I didnt eat any cake.
Then son took us out to eat yesterday. I got a grilled chicken sandwich. But it came with fries. Guess what. I ate the fries.
So today I did go to the afternoon WW meeting. And I had a big gain. I gained 3lbs.
So I got a quik track. Thought I would write down what I am eating. And just see if that will help.
So I have been kinda bummed today. But I know it is my fault with the gain.
So will have to just try harder this week to be in control.
Then on Sunday my parents are having a cookout. Not looking forward to that at all. So am trying to figure out what to fix that would be legal for me.
Well ladies I will get off here.
