Maryann, I LOVE Amish country in PA! I have relatives in Mystic Island at the Jersey Shore. I spent my youthful vacations in Amish country, the shore, and later at Atlantic City. It was SO fun. How are you doing on program?

VICKIE-Its good thing that I'm not going with them as I be on all the food lines. I LOVE their cuisine.

So far the scale hasn't moved. I gained 1.2, 2 weeks ago and last week .4 but I was sick with a bacterial infection & than having internal bleeding come from the internal hemorrhoids. So maybe thats the reason I'm not losing.

WISH me luck as I'm weighing-in tomorrow morning.

Hi chicks! Hope your day is going well!

Maryann-i kwym about the big H. Speaking from painful experience, it's no fun! I'm thinking positive thoughts for a loss for you this week.

Tracie-don't push the doc to let you go back to work. You don't want to have that procedure again! Let things heal

Rhonda-I hope the sand man is good to you tonight. Do you have any idea about what is causing your insomnia? Maybe you need a sleep study.

Vickie-don't let yourself get too hungry before bed. Maybe a small cup of skim milk would be satisfying and help you sleep, too.

Nancy-my DH leaves Friday. I'm already planning to send something to her next week; just some kind of "warm fuzzy" so she'll know how much I miss her. You need to start shopping for some goodies to send in a care package. It really does your heart good, I promise.

Dandy-

pa-hope your DH finds something soon. I can't imagine how frustrating it is to be looking for a job right now.

Sandra-I'm glad you are planning on going to the meeting. Maybe you'll be inspired.

I probably won't post tomorrow. I'm taking the day off to be with dh before she leaves for school. We will hang out and get some packing done. She probably won't be home for about a month, so I wanted one day with her all to myself. TTFN

Me too Vickie - hungry at bedtime - but to me that was a good sign (after having stuffed my face all weekend I was ready to slow down a bit). Scale is looking good so far but my 'official' weigh in is Friday!

Glad to see u are motivated and doing well. I have a bit of a headache now (took advil) but still hoping to go to gym after work for more weight training....as I am busy tomorrow and friday after work!! (tomorrow hair appt at 4:30 and friday wine & cheese party at work colleague's new house!).

As for my cruise - this time I will be visiting Cozumel, Belize, Roatan (Honduras) and Freeport - very excited and counting the days. Going with cruise buddy Ray and leaving dh and kiddies home to manage on their own!

Rhonda - I too as impressed with your exercising - sounds like u are doing great.

Now I must find a snack - I am feeling hunger pangs and usually like to eat something at least an hour or so before I life weights!

Dandy! Great to have you here. Of course we will have you. We love new people!!

Nancy, Vickie is right. Stress eating won't bring your baby back. Get back on track and get to goal!!!

Girls, I am off work until Friday. That's actually two more days than originally planned. So I am feeling a bit better now, so I think I'll be fine by
Friday. Thanks for thinking of me!

Vickie, I think that's a great way to get to goal. 15 pounds at a time.

Frouf, We went on a cruise to similar places. Cozumel, Roatan, Key West and Grand Cayman. I think in Cozumel we did an excursion that we had two person type speedboats, and we of course had a guide that cruised us all over and then had a break at a beach to swim and then cruised back. It was a blast. In Roatan, we went on an excursion where we had almost like small jet skis, but you laid down on your belly and there was a glass part where you could see all the fish and coral and everything. It was also very cool. It was at a really nice place that had an eatery with live music and a beach. Have a wonderful cruise!

I wi today, and lost 2.2 pounds, which puts me at 39 pounds now!! Another .4 and I will have lost my 2nd 10 %, and obviously 1 more pound will put me at a 40 pound loss! I'm so happy! I just love core.

Sammi, if you started on Thursday, then your points would start over on Thursday. If you went to ww on Thursday and started the plan on Friday, then you would start your points over on Friday. It all depends on when you actually started the plan.

Here I am again!

Maryann, I meant to tell you that, for me, losing patterns on Core were odd. I'd have a small gain, stay the same, and then lose over 3 pounds. I always recommend that newbies to Core give it at least a month. And, in your case, you also had all those extra "issues" that certainly could complicate things. Good Luck at weigh in this morning. Keep us posted.

Sloan, the night before last I had my hot vanilla milk before I went to bed. It did help me relax and stopped my stomach from growling. It didn't get me to satisfied though. I'm still trying to find a happy medium. I can't eat breakfast for another 15 minutes because of my medicine and my stomach is at a flat out rumble! I think your plan for you DD is sweet. I'll be sending care packages to my best friend's Son soon. He's in his third year. My best friend died on January 26, 2007. I promised her I'd look in on her kids so that's something I do for him. His younger Sister will get them in a couple of years. He LOVES receiving them.

Frouf, you are doing SO well with your exercise. I'm impressed. I'm giving myself a short reprieve until the beginning of my third week of WW. Then, back to the treadmill nearly every day. In the meantime, I'm just swimming and doing more lifestyle activity.

Tracie, congratulations on your fabulous loss for the week! I wish I had done it when I was young and kept it off. I'm very happy for you.

Rhonda, I hope your project is finished soon. I like it when you are here! Did you sleep last night? I was up at 2:30 and went back to bed but back up at 5:10. I think a nap is in my future.

Sandra, good girl! I like having company too. It makes a huge difference when Jim is dieting with me. He just doesn't go to meetings.

Sammi, good luck on breaking your plateau! Let us know how you did.

Well, Chicks...it's nearly time for me to eat. I hope to get in the pool after the cleaning lady leaves. Then I'll get ready for my one restaurant night a week. I think I'm having broiled salmon. Yum!

How much water did you have yesterday? So far today?

Went to my WW meeting this morning and I did manage to lose [ .6 ] after the stressful week I had one week ago.

Found out that I was eating to many grain carbs at one seating. Thinking I had 1 c I actually had 2.Have to watch that from now on.


Going to close for now I'm getting hungry and have to start dinner,as I didn't eat that much for breakfast being W-I day and all.

no I havnt been walking much Vickie,,,I just cant do it in this heat. As soon as it starts to cool down though I will be back at it once again..dh already told me we were ! haha.
