Good Morning Ladies

My DH feeling much better today after the dreadful petscan. I convinced him to go with me to the beach for a little while. It will be good for him to get that fresh sea air in his lungs, after being cooped up in the house for several days.Tomorrow the heat wave is back again.

Thanks for the congrats. I'm going to follow the same suite I planned last week. Watching my WPA's for the week.

b-FF cottage cheese on WW Pita[1] 1c ff milk

d-Turkey sausage[2] with peppers & onions on European Roll[3]

sn=pineapple parfait

supper-Canned clams with cocktail sauce on a bed of lettuce, with potato salad on the side

des-FF/SF chocolate pudding

Used 6 today but for the rest of the week I will use 2 per day.

===============================================

SLOANIE-Thanks for having conference in me,for a time when maintaining, I thought oh no if the core doesn't work where do I go from there. Happy it working for me and i will continue on this plan.

TRACY-I don't know why my leader doesn't explain the both plans to member as a group and at the end of the meeting.

Have to go,will look in on your gals later

Hugs BB

Good morning everyone. Its a wonderful summer day here in the NE. 80s with almost no humidity! BB, hope dh is better now. Should be a great weekend as well.

Not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow. DH is working, I'm thinking of maybe going to the beach. If I do that I have to grocery shop tonight. I'm shocked I have no fruit in my house! Usually I end up throwing away a few pieces that turn before we eat them. Not this week.

BB, I think alot of leaders are like yours. They don't know enough about core to talk about its merits. I personally think that is because most leaders lost their weight on points.

Well, off to get some work done. See ya later!

here you go, Sloan..get moving!

I left work at noon, and I'm taking Monday off. DH and I are driving down to Niagara Falls, NY and going shopping on Monday. Maybe I'll find FF/SF puddings so I can make Vickie's smoothies.

I'm going to be obsessed with the house work that needs doing but I'm in a better frame of mind about it all. I had a real meltdown about work and then felt better. No one else did, but that's not my problem

BBL,
Rhonda

Rhonda, I also left work early today, but not until 3:00. So I came home and am relaxing(in my messy house). I'm just having a burger tonight, and oven baked fries and some kfc coleslas for dinner. Something easy since I'm the only one here and I am only cooking for myself. I'm going to visit my dad tonight.
Had a great lunch with my mom this afternoon. Soup & salad with ff raspberry vinagrette. It was yummy.
I will be cleaning, cleaning, cleaning tomorrow. My house and my fridges. My laundry is pretty much done so I don't have to deal with that.
I will also make sure to get some swimming in, as long as it isn't raining. I should get some in tonight, but we will see how warm it is when I get back from seeing my dad.

Rhonda, you and DH have fun at Niagra Falls. Sounds romantic to me and the perfect place to cool off after a meltdown.

BB, You, rock, girl.

Tracie, your dinner sounds good.

Paula, a day at the beach sounds awesome. Enjoy yourself.

Vickie, I envy you having your pool. I just got a free 14 day trial at a local health club. They have water aerobics. I'm going to see if I can use the pass after we get back from Montana. (I may change my mind and go Monday.)

We're going out with friends tonight to The Beaumont Ranch. Rhonda knows all about what they offer there. We'll be playing shuffleboard, miniature golf, and eating fish. Life is good.

Hi Ladies, Tracie thanks for sharing the info on the NuWave oven. I love mine, it is a great thing to have when your doing core, so many times I have cooked chicken drumsticks or lean burgers for lunch, you can pretty much cook anything in it.
I took the kids to see Wall-e, it was very cute, they loved it.
I am cooking a marinated sirloin on the bbq and making core mashed potatoes and a veggie for dinner. I will try to get in about 20 minutes of exercise tonight.
Paula I went to the farmers Market the other day thinking it would be cheaper in produce, I spent $53.00, after that I went to Sam's Club which is a members only wholesale and their produce was so much cheaper, my next trip will be to Sam's for produce.
Off to feed the kids and finish up the laundry.

Good evening chicks! Sounds like it's been a good day for everyone. I had a nice lunch with the girls today and stayed op. After lunch, we went to visit my parents, and I ended up cleaning out the refrigerator! I'm home now, and I'm trying to decide what to have for dinner. The fam had pizza, but I didn't indulge.

Rhonda-Wow! Niagra Falls sounds so awesome. I've only seen photos, but I'm sure it's breath taking! Have a great time!!

Paula-have a great time at the beach. I've always thought it would be nice to be near enough to a beach to just drive over and spend the day. I'm sure you enjoy that. Also, the weather sounds heavenly. It's gotten really hot and humid here.

Sandra-Let us know how you like the water aerobics. Sounds like fun!

GTG find something for dinner. TTFN

Niki, the farmers market isn't really cheaper, but it's usually fresh local produce. I love the farmers market. Plus they have unusual things. Whenever I got there, I get candy onions, which I haven't found in any store. They look like a leek, but they are really sweet onions. Sweeter than vidalia onions and soooo good.
I'm making salsa tomorrow. I have simply salsa spice, made by tastefully simple and you don't have to use much of it to make really good salsa. It says just add to tomatos, but I also add chopped green pepper and onions. Then I am going to make some polenta chips so I can use them to dip in my salsa. Yummy!
Sloanie, your a strong woman. You didn't eat any pizza!! Good for you. I haven't had real pizza since I started this, back in march. I've made my own using the WW pita with pizza sauce, canadian bacon, onions, green pepper, mushrooms and ff cheese. It's good, but it's not the real thing. I guess if I used real cheese and counted the points for it, it would be better. I might do that.
Sandra, I love water aerobics. I haven't gone to my class in awhile because now I have my pool, and when I signed up, I signed up for 16 classes. Since they have it year round, I get 16 classes, so if I stop for the summer, I don't lose any if I don't go.

Hi All:

Well, Niagara Falls is spectacular. The Falls themselves, not the city. You can get VERY close to the Falls and the power of the water is truly awesome.

The city has some nice hotels and a casino (which I have not visited). The city has a very tacky side to it: cheesy souvenir shops, wax museum, etc.

But, it is possible to take a tunnel and go under the Falls and there is a boat to get close to the Falls. I've done the tunnel, not the boat.

We probably won't spend much time there since we have to do some immigration things for DH. But, we'll see it.

We went out for dinner and I was very good. I had vegetable soup and crab cakes. I can't guarantee it was totally Core, but I'm settling for it!

Have a great night all,
Rhonda

Sloan, I did water aerobics a couple of yearsago and loved it. I lost well and got pretty toned. I need to do some exercise and is something I enjoy.

Rhonda, I hope ya'll get all the immigration hurdles jumped.

Nikki, I love farmers' markets. The watermelons and cantaloupes and tomatoes down here are totally awesome.

We had a good time at the ranch tonight. We played a lot of pool and some shuffleboard. I feel like a kid.

Good Morning Chicks! I actually got 8 hours sleep last night. This menopause stuff is really getting to me. I ate ok yesterday but did get a lot of exercise in the pool before all those horrible storms came in. It's been really bad again here this morning. We've had enough rain now.

I've no plans today but need to work on my budget and hope that doesn't make me want to eat! Not that eating will help anything.

I'll be back later. I'm so glad you are all on program and doing well. I continue to hang on by the tips of my fingers.

Good Morning!
The usual Tennessee summer has finally gotten here. We've had unusually nice weather (low humidity) lately, but when I went out on the porch I found that summer has finally arrived. I probably won't spend too much time outside today anyway. I need to cook and freeze some entrees for next week as I am going to be at a conference Tues. - Fri. It is a teaching conference that will be long days followed by an hour long drive home. I'm not looking forward to it.

Niki-I love the farmers market, too.

Tracie-The salsa sounds super!

Rhonda-Thanks for the kick. I WILL exercise today. I'll report back to you and let you know what I did and for how long. I need someone to hold me accountable.

Sandra-acting like a kid is what keeps us young. I'm glad you had a good time.

Vickie-hanging on by the tips of your fingers means you have not let go. Keep hangin' on. It's gonna get easier!

It's already 10:00 and I'm still in my pj's. I've got to get busy. BBL

HI Ladies

The Heat is back again, temps are going to rising again this weekend. Here go the a/c's again.
DH is going to watch the golf tournament from Scotland. I will join him for the John Deere tournament later in the day.

PAULA-Thanks but DH is not himself again he was going to watch the golf tournament but he went back to bed to nap. You're lucky that you can go down to the beach,we're staying away from the beach this weekend as all the tourist are down there now,and they're no parking spaces for the locals to park even when you suppose to have beach stickers.

RHONDA-Have a great time at Niagara Falls, and your right forget about housework it always be there. Sometime I go within days before I start again.

ONTARGET-Thanks for the congrats,I know it the Core plan thats moving the scale downward.A woman on another board that I post to wants to start ww again but first she want to try the flex before the core. I don't know why people are so afraid of this side of the program. Its the easiest to follow, and you see results fast.

SLOAN-I'm not going out today either, the humidity is the killer up here along with the rising temps for this weekend.Staying in my A/C home.

Well I have to start my dinner, ham steak on O'Brien potatoes with some veggies on the side.

Hugs BB

Rhonda-I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes. I know that the pace and incline I used was not challenging enough, so I will change that next time. My heart rate only got up to 120, and I know that is not high enough. I'm going to search and find the correct range and shoot for that. I will walk again in the next 24 hours and report in.
