OK,

Day 1 - 8/22 - 3/4 mile
Day 2 - 8/23 - 2 miles
Day 3 - 8/24 - 2 miles
Day 4 - 8/25 - none (wasn't feeling up to it )
Day 5 - 8/26 - 1 mile - snuck this in after we got home
Day 6 - 8/27 - 2 mile - my usual Monday walk at the park with my parents may try to squeeze in an extra tonight after dinner before b-day cake.

Sandra - I love you're trip details. I'm supposed to go riding tomorrow may have to work out that route to Chicago. I take flonase (actually generic) for my allergies, it seems to really help I've just run out and haven't been to the pharmacy to refill.

Donna, I've heard a lot of good things about Flonase. Does it make you jittery? We get allergy problems and have trouble finding something that won't hurt our archery. Hard to hold steady on a target if you're shaking.

I'd love to read about your "journey to Chicago." I'm using The Interstate Authority to help me know where I am on my journey. This book tells us what's at every exit on every interstate highway. We use it religiously when traveling.

I haven't yet today but will do so shortly. I'll be back to post later.

Just checked the Interstate Authority. I ended yesterday at a parking area that has litter barrels. (72mm) I've already gone 1 more mile today. I need to 4 more miles to reach the next exit.

I just finished another 4 miles I am at 66mm. That's Fish Creek exit.
Hole in the Wall Resort is located just off this exit. It's a great looking dude ranch for anyone who's interested.

I'm already enjoying this "pretend" journey, and I'm seeing the miles melt away. What a ride!

I need to mark off the ounces this quickly. : This is fun!

I'm changing my list to match Patti's

Day 1 - 8/22 - 3/4 mile
Day 2 - 2.75 miles
Day 3 - 4.75 miles
Day 4 - 4.75 (wasn't feeling up to it )
Day 5 - 5.75 - snuck this in after we got home
Day 6 - 7.75
Day 7 - 9 miles + 9 miles on my bike
Day 8 - 10.5 miles
Day 9 - 12.0 miles + 3 more on bike = 12 on bike
Day 10 - 13.5 miles
Day 11 - 10/1 - 16.5 miles
Day 12 - 17.5 miles
Day 13 - 17.5 miles (couldn't get moving)
Day 14 - 19.0 miles (at work again)
Day 15 - 20 miles + 6 more on bike = 18 on bike
Day 16 - 21.5 miles + 3 more on bike = 21 on bike
Day 17 - 23 miles
Day 18 - 25 miles
Day 19 - 25 miles (could not make myself move this seems to happen once a week )
Day 20 - 27 miles (met my parents at the park )
Day 21 - 29 miles (work again )
Day 22 - 29 miles (no walking today ) + 7.5 biking = 29.5 on bike
Day 23 - 30.5 miles (work once again)
Day 24 - 30.5 miles (no exercise just loading the car and driving)
Day 25 - 32.5 miles (walked around a semi show) + 23 bike ride = 52.5 miles on bike
Day 26 - 33.5 miles (including 94 stairs)
Day 27 - 33.5 miles (again car riding only)
Day 28 - 35.5 miles (work again)

Most of my miles have been at work my goal was to increase by a mile a day but so far haven't been able to accomplish that. Need to improve.

The link is going to get shorter w/o Sandra posting.

Sandra - I don't have a problem with the Flonase but then not much makes me jittery, everything gives me a headache though.

Right now, I'm still here, Donna. Looks like you've put on some mighty impressive mileage. I won't be able to keep up but I'll pedal as much as possible.

Hi all,

I've been updating my list a few posts ago. According to that I have 21.5 walking miles and 21 biking miles. I'm actually pretty happy. I've decided not to worry about the walking miles being mostly at work, but to concentrate on walking on the days I don't work.

With 42.5 miles covered I've reached I-94 exit 161/Chelsea, MI on my trip to Chicago. Only 16 miles to go and I can make a stop at one of my favorite wineries

Have a great day everyone.

OK,

With 3.5 more miles walked I'm about exit 157. Still in Chelsea and decided to make a stop at the Purple Rose Theater founded by Jeff Daniels.

I'm planning to go bike riding today if the rain stops and should be able to make it to the winery

This is kind of fun Sandra.

From Day 12 to today, Day 19, I walked about 2-3 miles each day. I can, hopefully, pick up the pace today. At this rate, I'm not even out of Toronto, no matter where I choose to go!

Rhonda, you're a hoot. I started my trek at the I-90 mile marker on the west side of town so I could get on my way fast. I didn't go across town.

Donna, this is fun, isn't it? I'll be biking soon.

Got to go. Someone's here.

Okay, I am going to start back on my journey as soon as we're out of the house. We're to be out of here by Wed evening. I'll start something Thursday--even if it's just walking around the RV place. Our RV had an accident yesterday at the dealership so they're ordering it a new jack. We're not able to have it hauled to the RV Park till either later this week or next week. We're at the mercy of the factory. We are loading the condo now right there at the dealership. I don't know if we'll be sleeping there later this week or if we'll be at a motel. Regardless--I'm walking and I'm back on program.

So what about my trip to Seattle? I know I always seem to fizzle on these challenges. This time I'm going to just take a detour. I'm going to restart Thursday and head from Missoula to Texas. That seems appropriate under the circunstances.

Donna, I'm enjoying your journey.

Rhonda, hurry up and get out of town.
