WW was kind to me this morning I lost 1 lb. I'll take it since TOM is due tomorrow, and I caved and bought/ate chips last night. I was gloating about not buying any chips on Mon then I stopped after work on Tuesday
My finger is fine. I'm more embarrassed than anything, as long as I don't bump it, it doesn't hurt. Since it's my right hand & I'm right handed I bump it a lot though.
Coco - I usually use wi day as a free day. Which wasn't to bad when it was only diner but now I wi in the morning...need to get over that habit too.
Rhonda - I've been trying to average .75 lbs this year so far I'm not doing so well. For the summer (since mid-April) I'm only off by 2, but for the year 18.
Sandra - Good luck getting back your motivation. If I had any to spare I'd send it to you.
Patti - my garden's dying w/o my going out of town. DH is and usually he waters, I keep forgetting
Hi Everyone
Well not much happening here.
Eating was better today. So that was good.
ONTARGET Glad you are back. Sorry about your gain. You know alot of that could be fluid. And I know you will get back on track. Keep your chin up. I'm here for you.
TECHALUM CONGRATS ON THE LOSS!! Well I thought I would use my weigh in day for my splurge day. But I dont weigh in until the evening. So it is late to be eating whatever I want when I get home. I guess that is why I use Tues as splurge day. But have got to try and really work on it. But I usually want some chips or pepperoni and triscuts or cheese and triscuts. Things like that. And I have to have a Dove bar. So may dig out my YOU book and see if there was anything about this in it. And I just need to re-read it.
TEJAS CONGRATS to your friend for the loss. I have admitted that food to me is like alcohol to a alcoholic. But with food. That is something that you have to have to survive. So that is something that you cant give up cold turkey. Wish it was that easy. So I been looking at it as if I have a diesae. And I have to find a way to treat it. Does that make sense. Hope you had a good day. Glad DD and baby are alright.
P.A. Glad you are back. Sorry about your flowers. I know I need to get my YOU book out and get to re-reading it. Glad you had a better day yesterday. And that was good you sent the muffins with DH. See you are getting back on track.
To everyone else I am thinking of you.
Hope everyone is ok. Have a great evening.

Donna, congratulations on losing that pound. I am very happy for you. Did you see the thread where we're all talking about trying for 1 pound per week? You're right on target with it already. Yeah, I wish you had some motivation to spare me. I need it. I'm hanging in there today. So far so good. One day at a time. That's all I can do.
WOW!! Where is everyone.
Hope everyone is doing ok.
Not much happening here. But didnt have a core day. went to Wendy's and had a baked potato, chili and a caeser salad. But the chili on both. But counting points. I am not over my points. But boy did that meal taste good. Hit the spot.
ONTARGET How are you today. Have you got rested up from your trip. Hope so. You know in your post yesterday. You said One day at at time. For me. It is ONE MEAL AT A TIME. AND ONE BITE AT A TIME. It is such a struggle at times.
TEJAS How are you today.Did your friend mention how she kept focused to lose 100 lbs.
TECHALUM Hows the finger. Hope you had a good day.
P.A. Did you get your flowers straightened out. I still havent got my YOU book out. And I really need to do that. Maybe after I get off here I will go and dig it out.
TO EVERYONE ELSE hope you are doing ok. For the ones who havent been on for awhile. MISS YOU!! hope you come back soon.
Well am going to get off here for now.
Have a great evening.
coco
Coco, your meal at Wendy's sounds delish. I'm glad you enjoyed it. You're right. I remember at BCB they used to post "omohod". That means one minute; one hour; one day. Sometimes it seems it's also "one second."
Hey is anyone else having trouble on here tonight.
I got my instant e-mail notification.
Clicked on it. But it wouldnt let me get on.
So had to go to the regular email site to get on.
Just wondering.
Well am going to get off here for now.
Night everyone
coco
Stayed at 20 points today but it wasn't easy. I had salad for dinner, with a bit of tuna. But, I was determined today.
I also went to an hour of aquafit
Tomorrow I am going to wake up determined and stay that way. So there!
My older dog (Anna, 9 year old Border Collie X Shepherd) now has arthritis in her hips, mostly on the left side, and/or some spinal compression. So, if her liver and kidney tests come back OK she goes on anti-inflammatory medication tomorrow. It's tough to see her hurt so I hope the meds help her feel better. I'd rather hurt than see the animals hurt!
Had a great day yesterday....stayed OP and got my walk in as well. The scale was down 1.5 again this morning..Im now 3 pounds away from pre-holiday weight. Now Im off again for another week,,,struggle time again. Have to keep busy...
Coco that meal sounded so good...I may have to make some chili myself..mm its cool enough now to make it.
Rhonda is 20 points enough for the day?? Id be starving..
Sandra,,good for you on the loss...thats a pound in my books!!
have a good weekend you guys...
Popping in to say Hi before heading out of town for the weekend. Probably won't be back on-line until Tuesday. Yesterday went well although no exercise. It was so muggy I was just dragging when I got off work and couldn't drag my happy butt to the gym. I'm taking our bikes with me to Cleveland and we're planning on riding in the NP tomorrow. Weather's supposed to be beautiful.
Rhonda - Rudy our 12 1/2 yo golden retriever has been on anti-inflammatory for almost a year. He does soooo much better. He'd gotten to the point where he'd stand at the bottom of the stairs when we went up to bed looking at us with those sad puppy eyes, 'til dh went and carried him up stairs. Hope it works out for you.
Patti - yea on the walking Exercise is always key for me, this week I've been lazy though. Need to get back to it. Have fun on vacation.
coco - sometimes we have to do meals like that to stay motivated, if we deny ourselves stuff we just crave it. Moderation is the key! Finger's fine it's healing slowly, I think it'll be a couple weeks before it's totally better.
Sandra - how did your day go?
Off to breakfast and pack. Have a great day everyone.
Yes, Patti,20 points is enough but it is the lowest that WW says anyone should go. It should be between 1000 and 1200 calories. I'll do that until I break through whatever barrier I've set in my way!
Thank goodness it's summer and I love fruits and vegetables. I understand that the equivalent of 4 ounces of meat is really enough protein, and I'll get that.
It's a challenge, but I need it.
Anna can take the meds and she starts tonight. Thanks for the story, Tech. Yes, it is reaching the same point with Anna...not able to climb stairs well at all.
It looks like some of us are taking a holiday this weekend. I'll be home, sorting papers. I've done a lot of purging of stuff, so now it's the papers' turn!!
Rhonda, we'll be home this weekend, too. We're meeting with the realtors Saturday AM and will most likely list with them. If we do, our home goes on the market Monday. I hope it sells quickly. Boy! Do we have a lot of work to do getting rid of "stuff"!
Patti, congratulations on removing the extra weight. Another trip? Have fun. Enjoy every minute. You've earned your relaxation.
Donna, you do the same. What is NP? Is it a marathon or something?
Well, it's going to be lonely with you chickies on holidays. I'll try to hang in there/here while you're gone. I need this board even when it's silent. I guess I need a place to talk things out.
Rhonda, I"m glad you'll be here. I hope some others will pop in, too. Okay, let's keep at that 1 pound per week. We can do this.
Should we start a one pound a week challenge. We could set an end date of, say, Thanksgiving.
If we each lost one pound a week between now and then, we could call it the "Turkey Challenge" and buy a turkey that weighed as much as we had individually lost. I count 19 weeks between now and (American) Thanksgiving (somebody else count; I did it quickly). If you lose 19 pounds, you get to buy a 19 pound turkey, for example.
(Think how quickly you could cut down the number of people coming to dinnner!! Or, maybe don't have anyone over at all???!!)
Just an idea...shoot it down if you like....but come up with another one!!
I've got about 2 points left to have for dinner....salad, here I come!
