  • Hi Everyone
Well finally able to get on here. Had to much going on yesterday. And then it was late when we got home.
Had some errends to run. Then went and visited my Aunt. Then went out to eat. Wasnt good. And the had to go to a picnic. But didnt eat a thing there. Only drank a diet citrus ice tea and two cups of coffee.
Well tomorrow is my weigh in. When does the actual Thanksgiving challenge start. Do I cant this week in's weigh in. If I lose. Or next week.
Looks like we might get some rain. Getting awful cloudy and dark looking. And the wind is starting to pick up. Maybe it will pass over.
BLESSEDWITHSARAH Glad you had a good vacation. Glad you are back.
TEJAS CONGRATS on leaving food on your plate. That is hard. I know we ate out yesterday. Had regular spaghetti with homemade meatballs. Well I ate the meatballs. Ate some of the spaghetti. And gave the rest to son. And my dessert. I gave to him also and the garlic bread. Also congrats on the loss. That is good. Hope you had a good day.
ONTARGET I know what you mean about the closet and clothes. I have so many clothes in there. I keep thinking I need to get rid of the things that are to little. But then I keep thinking. Oh I will get into them one day. So may hang on to them a little longer. Maybe by Thanksgiving or Christmas I will be able to wear some of them. And as for new clothes. I wont even look at them. Because I get depressed to have buy the same size or bigger. And I am not going to do that. Hope your granddaughter is feeling better. Hope you had a good day.
P.A The omlette sounds good. Never thought about baking them before. Will have to try it sometime.
Well I am going to get off here for now. Hope everyone has had a great weekend. Well let you know how weigh in goes tomorrow night.
    Night everyone

  • Welcome back, Paula. Sounds like you had a great time. How cute about Sarah's learning French. Lobster sounds good. East coast sounds good. In fact, your whole vacatgion sounds good.

Rhonda, I'm in. I was thinking about how well we did last year. I have been giving diet pills credit for my success but then I get to thinking about how they only worked when I wanted them to. Probably my main aid last year was water aerobics. I went faithfully--some weeks I'd go 5 times. I need to get that "to it" back.

I am doing better today. (Thank goodness!) I just snacked today on cantaloupe and 2 WW 1 pt bars.

That's about 20 pts better than yesterday.

Coco, the Thanksgiving challenge is on now. Everyone's just jumping in when they get ready. I understand about hanging onto too small clothes. I'm doing that, too. I did get rid of some small clothes that are totally out of style (especially for me now that I'm in my 60's.) My mistake (one of them) has been that I've been wearing loose/sloppy clothes all summer. I need to be wearing tighter clothes.
  • Coco...the challenge can start whenever you want. I decided to start from last Thursday. The point is to try to lose 1 pound a week, no matter when you start.

You said you might prefer 1/2 pound a week. That's OK too...it's just an attempt to stay focused and take the small steps toward a bigger change.

    Night all,
    Rhonda
