  • Too funny! Well I'm glad your foot is well enough to walk on. When I broke mine, the dr said to put as much weight on it as I can bear, BUT we are all different. I must say though it will be nice to have company again in the Yard. I'm no or and I certainly wouldn't , but I'm glad you're coming back!
  • So far this week...
    Sunday: Easy Steps video (I modify it slightly by adding arm movements to all the spots where they have their hands on their hips)
    Monday: Winsor Pilates 20 minute workout
  • This is weird...
    Okay so I didn't feel like going to the FC but I went because:

    - I want exercising to be a permanent part of my life
    - I really don't like to exercise but I am hoping it will grow on me
    - Went off plan like a mofo this weekend, need to get back in the swing of things

    That being said... I worked for 40 mins on the elliptical, and my heart rate was in the 160s the whole time. I wasn't very tired, but after about 30 minutes I was feeling it. Here comes the weird part: normally when I hit the elliptical, I am wanting to quit at about minute # 7 or 8, my heart rate is lower, and I am BEAT afterwards. Today I have all this energy. I wonder if it is because I went off plan over the weekend and had more calories to burn? If I could guarantee that I'd feel this good after every workout I'd really be looking forward to going more often. I pray that today was not a fluke...

  • we can go half, because the loosing isn't goign to mean anything if i don't get to the gym and do some toning ...almost 20 pouns gone and I still don't see any of it.

    Plus don't worry about the scale as much. You are obviuosly getting healthier, look at the work you put in a the FC.
  • Yog-ilates today - 45 mins. The class was pretty tough. My triceps will hurt later.
  • Easy Steps video this morning...almost made it clear through but the foot started hurting bad....will do pilates this evening. YEAH for me...its a start back in the right direction! OOOOOOOOHHHHHH RAAAAAAAAAAAHHH
  • Hi Fit Chicks....
    I'm here, I feel like I'm home...(even though I'm in no shape to exercise right now)
    I'm thinking maybe after Thanksgiving I'll be able to start back slow......I really miss the activity and my muscles seem to be turning to fluff........Thank God they come back fast and have such good memory!
    Meanwhile you chicks do some reps for me okay?

  • I did the easy steps video again tonight almost made it through again but my foot was hurting...I guess I need to get an xray or something cause its just not right...will do pilates later...

    So thats Saturday and Monday excercise! I'll get there.!!

    Beanie - how long has it been since you hurt your foot?
  • Carmen I'm not sure a good month or more. It just really starts to hurt along the outside edge of my right foot. Kind of like a lot of little pins are sticking in and there is a good size bump!

    Did do easy steps again today! Im gonna make through the whole thing if it kills me. Today I went until I started to really limp and just couldn't take anymore that was about 16 mins in!!
