Hey Ladies,
I've got a really grouchy little one (Jake) but I'm hoping to make it to the Y at 9 anyway. We'll see how it goes.

I ate CRAP ALL WEEKEND and I feel so gross!! I jsut have no self control and I NEED TO WATCH IT!!! I'm gonna double my weight gain by the tiem this baby comes in a few weeks if I'm not careful! So, I'm about to go make my smoothie for breakfast and I'll get some water exercises in whether it's in WA class or by myself.

Baby started to drop a bit this weekend. It's amazing what a few extra inches of rib space can do for ya. I can breath again!!!

I got brave yesterday and took some pictures of my big belly I'll try to upload them and post. I've never posted pictures before. You can all see hwo HUGE I am!!!!

BOB- nope, not another c/section. I'm planning a homebirth. If it were to end up in a c/s for some reason I still would absolutely REFUSE to schedule one. I went into labor on my own with the others and I will this time, too

Monet- Where's the new market?

Ann- How is hour son feeling? Please keep us up on him! Poor guy. How old is he?

this morning's weigh in: 178.5! That's 1.5 loss this week.

Talitha, my son will be 16 on June 14th. He's still recovering, weary and weak.

I'm hoping to make it to the local pool for lap swimming today. Eating has been good this week. I thought I'd lose more than that but at least I lost!

Monday morning......I'll start ,y diet Monday morning! I feel like Totie Fields.

Why is it so hard to get motivated? I want to lose, I feel like crap. Afraid to step on scale, it goes to 270 and I'm sure I'm more than that! MAybe I should go down to the feed store or RR station!

My auspicious start for the day....2 fried eggs. Not very good eh? But it's better than a big bowl of cereal or a biscuit and 3 fried eggs.

TALITHA: what kind of smoothie do you make?

My weekend was a lost one. I didn't feel too peppy, took several naps during the day. Did not feel up to the pool. I know it's the weight dragging me down.

Today I have to take Bitsy to the vet for a checkup. It's around the time I start dinner, so supper tonight will be an easy one.

Will try to behave myself and check in later.

Good morning all my buster buddies...

I just got in from a three mile walk. I started out, and almost chickened out, but I had to decide at Killer Hill, and when I got to the bottom of it, I knew there was no turning back...it would be easier to walk two and a half miles around then turn and go up the hill! It took me a little over an hour, but I feel pretty good about it.

My weight sucks. I just keep gaining. I know it is the medication, but it doesn't help. Not when I am eating well and exercising so much. I am rather depressed about it all. I am up another pound. That makes nine since I started on the medication about five weeks ago.

The weather is rather cool this morning...it was perfect for a long walk. It is now getting warmer and sunny, so I timed it pretty good. Breakfast was left over egg foo yung, with a bit of soy sauce. It was filling, though not especially healthy it was not illegal. It had lots of cabbage in it.

TALITHA: The market is over where Bass Pro Shop used to be on Breckinridge just off Steve Reynolds. Essentially at 85 and Steve Reynolds. Its HUGE. They have tons of Asian, and Hispanic groceries. If you want to check it out, let me know. We could do a Harry's, Asian Markets tour, as Super H is just up the road...and you could swim in my pool if you like. Right now, it doesn't LOOK too good...Tom did not listen to me and shock it when I said it needed it, and now we are having to fight algae. Its such pain!

ANN: That is scary about your son. Is he diabetic? Or is this something new? Don't you just LOVE getting exercise in the pool? What am I going to do when the weather turns cold again? Way to go on the loss! It doesn't matter what the number is, as long as it is consistent it will add up!

SEF: Your being tired can be from blood sugars too. I was exhausted when mine were out of whack...thought it was my thyroid, but it wasn't. A little bit of exercise goes a LONG way in helping get the energy levels up. I often have a smoothie for breakfast. I make mine with water, and whey protein. Frozen strawberries thrown in are especially good. I am SO happy to see you on here again. You just can't imagine what a joy it is to me.

I need to go and try to find some order in the chaos that is my house....if I don't, my husband may lose his mind, and it will be all my fault! We will NEVER find it in this mess!

Okay, you guys...today's the day I ditch my minivan!! The car comes with a three YEAR warranty for $600....which, on a five-year-old car, I'll take that. I loved the pathfinder and my first choice, if I could have found one for the right price, would have been a Hyundai SantaFe. Good gas mileage and crash test results. But we couldn't find one at the right price. And I hate when you go to a dealer and say something like, "Hi, I'm looking for a Chevy Suburban." and they say, "Oh, well, let me direct your attention to this Volkwagen Beetle!...That's in your price range! and it's just your color!!" So, this dealer we went to had a Honda something or other, but it was more expensive and was kind of chintzy with the bells and whistles. So, the dealer has three cars I'm test driving...a Jeep Cherokee in tan, a Ford Explorer in black (although, I'm really not too thrilled with owning a FORD...Found On Road Dead...Derek's always had them with Konica and it's as simple as the doors really STINK. They open really hard and are really cheap...I hate that) and the Chevy Blazer in tan. The Blazer has (dont' know if I already told you) a sunroof, CD player, electric windows, locks, mirrors and (I think) seats, OnStar, a thermometer, cushy seats and, when I looked in it Saturday, I was really impressed with how roomy it is. And it has really nice tan upulstry (sp)....tan with nice colored specks. And, as an added bonus, when you turn the key, it STARTS!!! And things like the speedometer works!! I know, it sounds like I'm picky, but I just HATE going grocery shopping and not having my car start up and hearing my ice cream melting while I wait for help with a jump. Or having a NYS Trooper behind me and hoping I'm going the speedlimit. I'ts just the little things... So, I should go out and mow the lawn so when my check comes, I can just boogie to the dealer and drive away in my new car...I'll probably take it driving all over just for fun. And then park it for a while because SUVs don't exactly get great gas mileage. But, in it's favor, at least I won't have to pull over and put in a quart of oil or power steering fluid...the van leaks on both.

AND...wish me luck...I'm 99% sure I'm a shoe-in, because the last time I worked at Penney's as a stylist, they pretty much hired anyone with a NYS hairdressing license and a pulse, but I have an interview on Wednesday at the Salon at Penney's and I have to bring my mom so they can see how I cut hair and I have to put on foils and a few perm rods on her so they can see how I do that, as well. I'm glad becasue this shows me they care about hiring good stylists now.

Okay...have to dry my hair before FedEx gets here so I get high tail it outta here once my check comes!!!

I'll be sending Monet some pics to post...they're on the Mac and you fellow mac users know the drill... At least I don't have viruses!!

Hey, guys. Well, I can sympathize with you all. I ended up blowing it this weekend as well. I go into it headstrong and well, that's just about it. Ended up being a total oinker So I've gained back 6 of the 8 I was down last week Well, I guess I could try and look at the bright side of it. At least I'm back on the wagon again today And this confirms that eating so badly makes me feel badly. I have zero energy today. I didn't sleep well last night and got on up at 4:15 a.m. I had time to go ahead and make supper for tonight. Chicken salad sandwiches. I wanted to grill the chicken and make grilled chicken salad with veggies and some cheese and Ranch dressing. But no...hubby threw a hissy and said that if I made that then he would just pick up a cheeseburger He said just because I did the "diet thing" didn't mean I had to make him. So I came to a compromise with chicken salad(made with lite mayo, eggs, pickle, onion, etc.). That's what I ended up eating for bf, too. I got stuffed! I wanted to avoid the starches today but oh,well. Darn bread, lol. I got my workout in for the day(yay). Here's my menu for the day:

Pre-bf(post-workout): small peach
BF: Thick chicken salad sandwich
Lunch: Legal lean cuisine and sf yogurt
Supper: Another thick/packed chicken salad sandwich with probably some chicken salad on the side as well.

Well, it's taken me forever to write this at work so I'll wrap it up.

Ok, I am going to try and post the pictures TECH sent me. I will let her get on here and do the captions.

I went to the pool store and walked out over $50 poorer. Anyone who thinks its cool to have a pool never had to PAY for the dang thing! When it gets out of whack, which happens if you look at it wrong, it can cost $100's to get it back as it should be.

I shall return!

Thank you, Monet!! The pics are of Kyle on preschool graduation. I think he looks like Ron Weasly from Harry Potter, with blonde hair. He's my cutie patootie, that's for sure.

The SUV is the car I'm waiting for FedEx to deliver my check from Capital One to buy. I CANNOT WAIT! I called FedEx earlier and they said it would be delivered between 12-1 and at 1:10, I called and they said it will be here between 1-2. I'm about to throw up I'm so excited...why do they do this to me!! This is the fourth car I've owned in my life. I"m just praying me van starts up so I can drive it to the dealer. The dealer is a nice small dealer with about 12-18 cars for sale at any one time. And his neice lives across the street and is friends with Shelley, so I sort of know the family. I hate dealign with dealers that have to stand on cars and make idiots out of themselves to sell cars...and inflated prices. I shouldn't have to pay more than $7-8,000 for a five-year-old car, in my opinion...no matter how nice it is. But the guy at FedEx that answered when I called wondering where my check is, was laughing because I"m like, "I'm waiting for a check to buy a car with....I'm just a little excited!!" And then I said, "If it gets to be 2 o'clock, I'm calling and squeaking again!!" You know, it's the only way to get a little oil...

Laurie...I hope you're husband gets with it a little and allows you to make him legal meals once in a while. I mean, it's good for him, too. Don't know if he has a weight problem, but even if he's as buffed as Monet's husband...everyone benefits from healthy eating!! It would be a nice show of support for you and your efforts if he jumped on board, too. Its hard enough to stick to a diet without having to make illegal stuff and stay out of it, then make yourself a salad.

Sef: I agree with Monet. I think your tiredness is from your eating. And I find myself better motivated if I start my good way of eating at dinnertime...like a headstart for the next day.

FEDEX JUST PULLED UP!!! GOT MY CHECK!! I'M OUTTA HERE!!

WOOHOO!!!

Happy Monday Ladies, not!

Probably won't be here much this week, our golf outing is next Monday and things are getting busy and crazy. Just pray we have good weather. I hate to pray for silly things like that, but it is a fund raiser for children.

Eating over the weekend is like everyone elses' - in the toilet. Surprisingly the scale was only up 3 fromthe weekend. Looking for a silver lining, it beats the 8-10 is is usually up.

Sorry no time for responses. Will check in when I can.

Hey, I want to go on record here as saying my eating did not suck over the weekend....its my weight that sucks. I ate pretty well...but if you take sulfonylureas, well, you WILL gain no matter how well you eat.

I just did my good deed of the day. I gave my favorite neighbor a ride to the doctor about 30 minutes away. She has had a few seizures and was going to see an neurologist. She can't drive...so asked me to drop her off and her husband was going to pick her up. I am worried about her. I love her to pieces...I would hate for her to have epilepsy or something worse...

I am frustrated with the pool. It doesn't look any better. Justin put in the algaecide for me, and it did not help. It may need more. I just hate when it turns greenish.

I am wiped out. I think I will either go do some sketching with my pastels, read a book, or take a nap.

We're home now and Sean did great. He is doped up pretty well and when he gets up his nose oozes a little. His main complaints are his head and his throat. He says the head is not as bad as having a migraine though and I suspect his throat hurts from being intubated. The doctor said he found a lot of irritated and infected tissue up there that antibiotics alone would never clear. They gave him a bag of antibiotic during surgery and he will take a round here for the next week till he goes in for post op on Monday. Thanks for all your support!

Well I',m still here. Not 100% but trying. Had bay scallops scampi for lunch with a little rice. Took Bitsy to vet and made one of those meal in a bag things, Mexican. So had some rice again. Also had a couple of SF cookies DS had bought me. Did not get enough fluids in me.

Bitsy is now up to 5#8oz so is doing good. No longer the runt.
