Well I blew it yesterday evening - at our Passover seder - it was that darned yummy matzo ball soup that started it - and the chocolate cake that ended it (and the MANDATORY - yes Star, mandatory four glasses of wine in between!).
Trying again today:
Breakfast:
decaf w/cream (3)
cheese curds (.5)
Lunch:
hamburger concoction (ground beef sauteed w/onions, red & green peppers, mushrooms, 1/4 salsa, spices and some tex-mex cheese thrown on top) = 5
Snack:
3 pepperoni (1.5)
sf drink (1)
=2.5
Dinner:
roast chicken (0)
some clear chicken soup (can I stay away from the matzo balls?) = 1
green beans (3)
=4
Total: 15..... might go out for coffee in the evening so another couple of carbs there!
Well let's just say the wine glass is refilled four times during the seder - and you are supposed to drink up - I try to add only a smidgen each time to avoid overdoing it! (but it was a very good chardonnay from Australia..... )
Froufy
P.S. Kids going to their dad's for 2nd seder tonight - so nothing big and elaborate going on at our place (now what to do with that leftover white wine???? hmmmmm)
Raven you guys have some pretty good candy too!! A friend of mine came home from her vacation to Australia and brought home lotsa candy!! You guys also have the best reptiles, something I am totally envious of and I LOVE cockatoos so you have the best of that too, I would like to see them in the wild instead of in the cages here!! Even though i know they are like pigeons are here. OK I am ready to go to Australia!

I KNOW! I love our lollies and chocolates and biscuits!
Especially Tim Tams. But no more! Unless they make low-carb versions, which I very much doubt
Cockies aren't quite as prolific and filthy as pigeons...I live right on a really pretty park and we have cockies in the trees all the time! And rosellas and rainbow lorikeets too
We have pigeons too...they mostly hang around the city and business areas where there are tallish office buildings. I also love when seagulls come into the city looking for chips!
