Starting this thread at 8pm Alaska Time Zone is so funny to me. Especially since it's daylight out It is still hours away from tomorrow to me and 3 other time zones. LOL

You're so pretty! You've done so much so quickly. Sorry about the early start. I was up late and had my laptop on. I usually check in here 1st thing when I get up from my Droid. Like now.

We have had rain all stinkin day here today so no field work for me tomorrow, so likely will be checking in as I should be close to a computer most of tomorrow.

Had my daughter take some pics of me over the weekend as I find it hard to see the changes looking in the mirror every day, but WOW....there has been some noticable change, AND Im only half way to goal...sure builds some enthusiasm and excitement for me. I will try and post some tomorrow...

Good night all...

You look great, Mooselover! Still Sunday here in California, too. Looking forward to a happy, OP Monday tomorrow! I had a tough first 3 weeks with several annoying challenges, but I've hit my stride, and I am feeling much better! IP really is a huge life change, and I feel so different on the inside already (and I'm starting to see more and more changes on the outside, too!). Also, I wanted to share this yummy salad recipe I've been enjoying, and will be having today for lunch!

My new favoritest thing to eat:

cucumbers, chopped into disks, then into fourths (skin on or off-your choice)
red bell pepper, chopped to .5 inch pieces
bean sprouts to taste
mint
cilantro
green onion
chicken (if you are having for dinner, or omit for lunch)

dressing (add all ingredients to taste):
garlic, pressed
ginger, pressed
lime juice
soy sauce
olive oil

Mix together dressing, then add to salad for an amazing, refreshing summer salad, or use as filling for lettuce wraps with romaine or butter lettuce. YUMMY!

That is so funny! Your salad sounds very similar to what I made for dinner today, tbe only difference is that I used purple cabbage instead of cuke. Even my dressing was the same! Soooooo yummy.

I hope Monday treats everyone well. I'll have a weigh in, so I'm kind of excited.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out which thread had an article by a cardiologist, in which he talked about inflamation, omega 6s, and carbs. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

It's not official as my WI is Tuesday, but I've been in One-derland since last Wednesday! Haven't been lower than 199, but everyday except Thurs I was either 199.5 or 199, and I'm doing this all on my own so my scale is the WI scale. I'm so excited about this as I think it's been over 2 years since I was still in the 190s.

I rememebr having my pic taken the first time.. looking at it was tough. but as the months went by and I took new pics I was so happy I did. We dont really see ourselves correctly in the mirror. I agree it is a great motivation to see the changes. Cant wait to see your pics.

WHOOOO HOOOOOO welcome to onderland!

Good Morning Everybody
I had a long, busy, emotional weekend and the week leading up to it. I am so glad to be feeling "normal" again. I am feeling thinner today so I am sure that this week I will have a loss. WI isnt until weds so we will see. ( I am a little shell shocked after last weeks gain).

Have a great day everybody...

Good Morning everyone!

Anyone have a tough time the end of their second week. I was doing a lot of spring cleaning yesterday, packing away sweaters and winter clothes and taking out all the summer stuff. Of course it was in the 90's yesterday and I was in our crawl space which was hot. Anyway...I felt lightheaded a number of times and a little shaky. I kept my water with me and drank a lot but boy was it a tough day. I was also carting totes up and down the stairs to get some of our old baby toys out to put in the baby's room. is this what it will feel like if I start doing more exercise?

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We were busy but we are down to one sport until next Saturday. It will be nice when there is no more practice/games. I like the breaks.

Cheers for a great week for everyone!

it sounds like you needed another packet. A shake or your daily restricted before that exercise would have helped. Be careful.
