So funny, I had a higher calorie day yesterday, felt like crapola last night and today I'm truly not hungry. Ate about 800 calories and I'm stuffed - have felt stuffed all day! How weird is that? That's happened to me once before about a month ago. Huh...

Anyway... I have so much to do tomorrow. My mother in law is coming back on Tuesday and I have so much to do - most of all, finishing her curtains which I have put off and put off. This 'vacation' from her turned out to be horrible as two people with pneumonia, two hurricanes, starting a new job, an earthquake, becoming a room parent and having my younger son's psych eval... all my 'free' time was sucked away, but I cannot hear it one more time, "when are you going to get my curtains done?" UGH!!! So... I will be sewing and pinning and ironing all freaking day tomorrow to make 8 panels of curtains. ACK!!!!

I am on plan. I do not see any indications of a weight loss this week. I am doing WW. It does seem like I am losing something every 2 weeks. Maybe I will be surprised this week with a weight loss.

I hope Larry is okay!

Jo Congrats!!!! That is awesome.

As for me; I am grateful that my son's birthday week came to an end!!

I am hovering around 156. I totally fell off SB wagon on Friday; I had a nacho meal on; therefore I had to start recounting my SB phase 1 all over again...I am so dumb

I have very little willpower when we eat out.

I stayed on plan quite well on Saturday; ended around 1200 calories, all SB phase one.
Today I consumed around 1400 calories; again stayed OP.

I think my water intake has been too low during this past week (especially how much we ate out...all that sodium). I will really try to concentrate on getting my 80 oz in for the next 5 days straight.

See you all tomorrow!

Hi,

I just joined on Friday after a trip to the Dr and a complete shock at the weigh-in. Honestly, I had no idea I had packed on 20 pounds. Needless to say, I am on a diet. I am on no plan but am interested in gaining insight into what works for you all. What's a realistic daily calorie intake, etc? I have cut out the wine, sugar, and have amped up the exercise. I look forward to taking some accountability for myself and to stop avoiding the scale.

Here we go

Hi,
I decided to give myself a present and start WW. My stepmother is a big fan of WW as she lost fifty pounds on it and has maintained that loss for something like 10 years... but she still goes to meetings and weigh ins..!

So I will post my weight tomorrow after I weight myself in the morning and start keeping track. First stop--a food scale.

Good morning!

Larry- I'm thinking of you and DW today.

Weigh in this AM was 170. Over the weekend I saw 169 again. I don't expect to see it the rest of the week though, as its TTOM. But what matters more than the weight is the fact I've been hanging on tight to my plan- getting between 1400 and 1550 cal a day, and working out (got in 4 times last week, cardio and strength training). I'm hoping to be back down to 165 soon- maybe by my birthday? Oct 19. That gives me plenty of time.

Scale reads the same this morning and I'm dragging, let me tell you! Ugh... Mondays! LOL

Hubby is up and going to work today. Everyone is healthy again and I'll be a slave to the iron and sewing machine all bleeping day long.

Morning everyone. Monday. We should all feel rejuvenated on monday morning, but instead we are all dragging.
Don't know when and if I will get my walk in, it is pouring outside at the moment. Supposed to be a break in the rain mid morning, but I have to see if my gf can wait an hour or two to walk. If not, I will hit the treadmill since I just took a rest day Sat. Maybe I will do my weight lifting before my walk if we do end up waiting. I hate waiting to workout.
Berry, I thought those curtains were done months ago. No fun to have to work on a project you are not into. Oh well, at least it will be off your list after today, right? Hmm, maybe your appetite goes down once TOM starts? Have you made anymore mini pies? (for the family-don't want anyone to think we are losing weight by eating mini pies ) I looked because I thought I had mega muffin pans, but I must have been thinking of my mini muffin pans.
Still, your working your plan, the scale will have to give in eventually! I hope you hit your goal by your bday!
catgirl, to check in! I hope WW works well for you.
jjcarol, to check in too! Scale avoidance is a bad habit isn't it? I do the same thing. Wait, I USED to do the same thing
Sum, way to get right back at it. Thats life, there will always be celebrations and such, enjoy but don't let it derail you, wtg! Oh and btw, I love nachos! Between you and vixsin, I have been drooling.
Wannabe, My weight loss is never linear either. I tend to lose a lot one week and then maybe nothing or just a trickle. Do you keep track according to your cycle too? I definitely notice trends there too. As long as you are losing, that is what matters in the long run.
Diana, I was drooling over you steak dinner too! Yum! I can't wait until I can splurge a little every once in a while. You are truly an inspiration. I love that you are sticking with your plan for the most part and then letting yourself have some extras every so often.
Hopefully theres not too many typos or grammar mistakes in this because I am too tired to check it. I will catch you all later with my accountability for the day.

I worked on the stinking curtains for a full day several months ago and made a major mistake and haven't gone back. See, she bought curtains from IKEA that need hemming and the material is not nice. Then, she realized that she couldn't open them well, so I punched out big grommets at the top which was not easy as the curtains had hard netting to be cut away in the header. I did that for four panels - took ALL DAY and then hemmed one, being so careful with measuring and I made the curtain too short!!!!! So, I had to go otu and buy a new panel and haven't touched them again. All because she was too cheap to buy curtains and volunteered me to do them for her! NEVER AGAIN!

I've made tons of curtains and I hate doing it. Which is why I bought Target curtains for my bedroom (which I haven't hung yet either). Guess I'm not a big curtain fan - we have blinds up... don't see much point in much more than that.

Good Morning, Everyone! Let's make it a great week!

Weigh In: 146.8
Up: .6 (I expected an extra bump up, since we ate later the night I had my splurge.)
