HAPPY SUGAR BUSTIN NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!

MONET: I have the WORST time with that part of Rayman, too. I can get through the first level, but I definitely need to pass the controller on to Derek or Shelley after that. I just like to watch everyone else play.

Cole:

Okay...so far I"ve had coffee with Splenda and half and half and a couple slices of an orange. Might go make some eggs and sausage for breakfast. Today's the day!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Good Morning All

I was out visiting a couple of friends last evening and got home about 2 a.m. Didn't get to bed until 3.30 as I was not feeling tired so sat reading for a while. I was wide awake at 5.30 so got up and emptied the dishwasher, had a cup of tea and read for a while then went back to bed again when I began to feel sleepy. Was woken by the phone at 10 a.m. I plan on having a relaxing day as I did chores yesterday and just have to prepare dinner for this evening.

Tech – The only snow we had a couple of days ago was a little sprinkling on the ground early in the morning. In a couple of hours it was gone. My ds and his family must be very disappointed as they have been up at our cottage this past week with two snowmobiles.

BOB – I’m only having one friend over and I am cooking some chicken and sausage in the crockpot with some barbecue sauce so will be easy. Will just have to cook the veggies and rice plus the apple crisp which I will make this afternoon.

Fruitloupe – I always get a smile from your posts. I had a laugh about the fireworks. That’s a cute picture of Lexie.

I saw "Little Miss Sunshine" yesterday. It wasn't great, but the ending really made me laugh. Has anyone seen it?

Well I am off to WATP before jumping in the shower.

Happy New Year everyone!!!! I'm having a really relaxing day. Just doing a little laundry. I made my roast yesterday and it turned out wonderful. We'll have that left over for dinner with stuffed mushrooms, black eyed peas and maybe a baked potato for DH. Haven't really made up my mind yet. I had an organic blueberry waffle this morning with a banana and some coffee. I hope you all have a great day.

Default Happy New Year

Good morning. I would have prefered to skip the weigh in this morning but I figured I wanted to start of the new year focused and ready. I gained one pound over the last two weeks since vowing to do better. I was at 176. It is really hard to look in the mirror and know that I allowed myself to gain that much weight over the last two years. (about 20 pounds) There is a sense of failure but I try to tell myself the same things I would tell others. I'm not my weight, today is a new day...I can do this. So if you find yourself in my shoes this January YOU CAN DO THIS. We WILL do this. ((Everybody))

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Gotta make this quick. Happy New Year!! I have NOT done good at all lately and have gained weight back. Not for sure how much since I'm in a good mood and know if I weigh that will change it. So I'm not going to cry over what's done. Instead I'm starting the 1st day of 2007 off great. I bought Leslie's new 5 mile advanced walk and did it all. Now that was a challenge in itself. I'm drinking my water and almost ready to start preparing supper- mexican meatloaf, sweet potato, and greens. Just going to take it one day at a time and take care of myself. I might weigh this weekend and just hope it's in the 160's. Alright, I need to get off my butt and start cooking. Here's to a great and wonderful New Year that I hope ALL of us will reach our goals and keep our health as #1!!

Happy New Year everyone! I am sick as can be. I started feeling pretty bad last night, and it just got worse and worse. I am not sure if it was food poisoning, or just a bug. I did manage to eat a bite of different traditional foods for New Years...Ham for happiness, greens for green backs, rice for riches, and peas for prosperity. So far, it has stayed down, which is encouraging.

I am afraid to check my blood glucose levels...I have not had any meds since yesterday noon.

I hope everyone had a great day! I spent it sleeping mostly, so thank you BOB for filling me in on the Dawgs win...who were they playing? (I know..I am pathetic) Did Florida win? Once the football season is over, we may get GATOR back on here...

Later my friends! I need to go rest again!

Happy New Year Everyone! NYE was very quiet here. Went to eat gumbo ( I know, I know...not legal, but oooooooh so good) at DS's house then by 8pm I could keep my mouth shut or my eyes open so we headed for home & went to bed.

Today we slept till 9am then went to eat lunch at Cracker Barrel with my 2 ds & their dh's. Had the grilled catfish. Then went to visit & drink coffee with Ex-BIL/SIL. A great day.

Plan to get back on track tomorrow.

I am still sick. One benefit of having the flu though is that I have lost four pounds since Sunday. They were some of the thyroid pounds, so I am glad to see them go! I just hope they stay gone and take some of their friends.

I need to go crawl back in bed. I hope I can find something interesting to read....

Happy New Year Ladies

I'm so glad to be back. I have missed you all terribly. Needless to say I spent 2 weeks eating everything. I am so sick of junk food, etc. I am ready to get serious as you are. So it's back on track today. I went to the store yesterday and stocked the fridge with fruits and veggies. Plus got lots of fresh cod. Froze it in small packages.

I'm eating some grapes now and I'm afraid my body will go into shock. It hasn't seen fruit since Christmas.

Of course the scale was up 14 lbs yesterday. Today I am down 7 Hope some more comes off in the next couple days so I can see the real damage. Tonight we are back to the gym. I can't believe we didn't go at all while we were off. We did walk 1 day.

Haven't had time to read posts, but wanted to check on Monet to see how she is feeling and to say welcome back to Rosalie. Nice to have you back.
Welcome to any newbies and Happy New year to all my "old" friends.

I'll be back later to catch up.
