I'm down to 259.6 - that's 9lbs. since Monday! I know it's mostly water weight, but never the less I made one of my goals for May!

My other 2 goals for May are daily check ins & 1300 - 1400 cals. a day.

The daily check in really helps to keep me focused. I get sidetracked and then binging if I don't keep my program in mind every day.

Hope everyone has a good day !
  • Congrats to all who have lost, as well as to everyone who have been OP.

I have lost 2 pounds this week, altho' I have been eating a little bit off my plan, and exercising very little.
I get headaches if I eat within my plan which is 1200-1400 cals. daily.
I'm eating close to 2000 calories, but I can see that I can still lose some weight, which means that I have been eating a way lot more calories before I started counting calories.

I will have to change my goal for this May challenge from losing 8.8 pounds to 7.3 pounds. Still quite ambitious since I tend to lose weight very SLOW, but I'll try.
This goal will take me to 148.5 pounds, and I'm now at 153.8 lbs. so I hope I can lose 5.3 pounds in 3 weeks.

    Good luck everyone.
  • aluxa: thanks for your support on the previous posts. i have learned to accept the fact that i will sometimes make mistakes. i'm doing better now and OP.

today i experienced a NSV. i am able to fit into size 14 skirts that i have not been able to wear since about 2005. cool huh? they fit perfect. yay! i'm so happy about that.

will check back in later. off to do some errands in my skirt lol!
  • Susiemartin: for the 9 pounds!!!

Onestar: for the 14 skirt. I love when I go to my closed to try things that I have been unable to use for years because they were too small for me and now they fit!

I’m here to wish you a great and happy mother’s day!
  • Today is my first "official weigh day" for this challenge. I weigh every-day but for the sake of this thread I'm only recording once a week. My SW was 169.8 and I'm now at 167.8 so that's exactly a 2lb loss in the first week. I'm super excited since my weight loss has been stalled for a couple of weeks.

  • Happy Mother's Day

Good OP day yesterday. I'm down another 1lb. this morning. That's exactly 10lbs. in a week! I must have been totally water logged from all the binging.

I imagine I'll go back to a respectable 1-2 pounds a week from here on out.

No big plans for today. It's very cold here with freeze warnings for tonight. Might take a walk if it stops raining.
  • Happy Mother's Day to all the Mommies!
Enjoy a happy, healthy day with your families!
  • Hey Ladies, first I want to wish all the mothers out there a Very Happy, Blessed, and Wonderful Mother's Day! Just a quick check-in before work. Right now I'm .2lbs away from hitting 40lbs lost. I was really hoping to see it today, but I guess I can wait 1 more day to be able to change my avatar Hope all of you have a wonderful Sunday

  • Hopeful8:for that 2 pounds and for the almost 40
  • Happy Monday! I hope everyone is ready for the week ahead. I had a wonderful Mother's day being spoiled by my family. I ate too much but then got lots of activity, so it didn't net too much damage. Back to the "norm" today. I need to get some meal planning done. This week I have to get a lot done around the house, so I'm not gonna linger here much, but I wanted to sneak in some personals today. Mom's garage sale is this weekend and I REALLY want to get rid of a lot of stuff. Also, my grandparents are coming to see the house this weekend on their trip up from Illinois (to help with the sale), so I want it to look decent because who knows when/if they'll be back to see it again anytime soon (they live about 7 hours away).

susiemartin-I'm so glad you saw those nice results quickly to get you back on track. Take the losses as they come and be grateful. You are doing wonderfully!

Hopeful8-Well.....did you hit the 40 lb mark today? I'm excited for you to hit such a milestone!

lesmith-Hopefully your morning included time for C25K. It was the program that got me back to running after doing very little for a LONG time. I'm a huge fan of the C25K program!
  • Well ladies - up one lb after mother's day weekend! I guess it could have been worse!

Back to my spinning today though!
  • Down a pound, 8 more to go
  • How was everybody’s weekend?
Is it normal that after a plateau we start to lose weight quickly without doing changes in our routine?
    My update:
    Sw: 167.4
    Cw: 162.8
    Gw1: 165 (done)
    Gw2: 160 (2.8 to go)
    WL: 4.6
