krampus- great job maintaining on vacation!!
LockItUp- LOVE the hair! And I think that food is still the go-to for celebration because, well, good food is just so good! Plus it is something you have been relatively deprived of, so it feels even more like a special treat now than it did before.
Mottainai- wow that's a lot of progress in under a month! Good job!
TurboMammoth- I'm glad your hip is feeling better faster now!
Leila- I have found it so much easier to get back on track when I don't let myself regret a weekend that went a little overboard. The guilt just makes me want to eat more, horrible cycle, and any damage done can always be undone.
Bayzee- no alcohol Friday sounds like a great plan!

So, the weekend was a BLAST. I didn't make finals but hey, that meant I got to drive home during the daylight

I was on the road by noon Sunday and finals were at 2. I didn't do as well as I hoped as far as eating only a little, I stopped and got enough McDonalds to last a weekend on my way up. It sounds crazy but I NEED animal fat/ animal protein to avoid or undo a hangover. And I'll eat room temp McNuggets for a couple days LOL. Also my friend and I went out for dinner on Saturday. Ultimately, though, I don't think I over did it too much. With the exception of dinner Saturday I stuck with diet sodas (ok, mostly with alcohol LOL) and I can't say I over ate, I picked at food, it just happened to be McDonalds. Actually looking at it, that was just over 2000 calories worth of McDonalds and 800 of it was Friday's dinner. And eating out wasn't horrible except for the small pitcher the soda was served in (seriously LOL) I think the jello was probably the worst thing all weekend.
Either way I ate more than I had planned, but still, I WAS dancing for hours, so that's ok.
Yesterday I was planning to stay around 1200 calories (300 less than usual) to make up for the jello LOL but since we weren't together for Veterans day (and he worked) we decided to go out and take advantage of one of the few places with free meals for veterans last night, Cheeseburger in Paradise. OMG. Just OMG. If you have never eaten there before, don't start now. You will never stop. Their fries were amazing, the burger was awesome, the cheese sticks were delicious, and worst of all the pina colada was one of the best things I have ever ingested in my entire life. The meal actually made me think "man if I could afford to eat this food every day I don't think I would mind that I would get really fat." Most times I go out to eat I will eat like, 3 cheese sticks, 1 or 2 chicken tenders, and a ton of fries. Last night, oh boy did I eat more than than. I came home with 3 cheese sticks for left overs.... instead of a whole extra meals worth of food.
So if you think about going there, don't do it. LOL
But I woke up today at 152 so as long as I am smart the next few days and aim a little low I think I will be good!
