Sure can!
This is the URL for your current ticker:
http://www.3fatchicks.net/img/bar02/...lb/0/50/0/.png

You'll want to track your progress in the last '0.' This is the total pounds lost, so if you lose 2 in one week, then 2 in the next, the total will be 4.

If you change the '0' at the end as I've instructed, your slider will move like this...
http://www.3fatchicks.net/img/bar02/...lb/0/50/4/.png

So all you have to do in the end is go to your User CP and edit your signature. Find your ticker, and change the last zero, then save your signature. Voila!

If you need any more help, let me know!

Bellydancing class is Monday. Unfortunately I haven't been practicing what we've learned so far. If I get some alone time today, I hope to practice a little. While there are only a few students in the class, I feel self-conscience about doing this kind of thing. I've never danced before. The other girls in my class are young skinny girls that are taking other dance classes as well. Here I am trying to cover up my body, while everyone else is wearing skimpy spandex.
Good for you for sticking with the belly dancing! I can understand why it's so nerve racking, I'm a sweatshirt and layers gal myself, but this is a great way to work off those pounds, and I bet you'll make a fabulous belly dancer!!

Hope to lose a few before Nov. 30 when we leave for our trip to Seattle/Oregon Coast...need at least 5 lbs. gone to fit in some clothes!!!
Good for you! What kind of trip are you taking? Vacation, anniversary, etc?

--

Calories at the end of a planned day are: 1593. 7 cals under my goal, and if I get hungry, I've made some fat free JELL-O to snack on

DF wants subs tonight, so I picked up some w/w buns so I can have a mini "sub," and with my cal-wise condiments, I made it work! I get 2 have 2 for dinner About 2 1/2" in diameter, so it should be good and filling!

Saturday was a crappy day for me. I don't even know how many calories I did. I started off good with a light breakfast and then headed over to the bridal salon for my fitting. Then I had to cruise around the mall for hours trying to find shoes to no avail. I was very hungry and of course there was nothing healthy in sight. I had a chicken cordon blue from Charlies steakery with fries. Fries! I sat down, angry as all get out because I couldn't find a decent pair of shoes for the life of me. I ate very slowly and very carefully knowing I was treading through dangerous water (food), afraid I was going to binge on what I had gotten. It was a lot of food for a regular sized meal. As I said, I went very slowly through my meal and was able to eat only enough till I felt full and I threw away half the sandwhich and didn't finish my fries!!!

And then, on top of that, I went to my sister's house later that evening and had two small cookies. I'm just going to put that day behind me and stay on track. At least I walked the mall a million times over.

And of course...today, I paid dearly for that grease I consumed. My stomach was so yucked out today. I only made it to 956..and I was so pooped out, I could barely manage to work out for a half an hour today.

Hi ... I am new to the board. Just thought I would stop by this forum because I like to count my calories as opposed to other types of diets. My question is, do you post your calories everyday, or once a week? And, I noticed that everyones calories vary quite abit. How did you determine your set point?

Someone posted a link earlier in the thread for bellydancing. Thanx! I have been wanting to do bellydancing, but I feel so shy about it, esp with this weight.

My calories for today were 1055.

Hi Morag ! Welcome to the forum.

I post my calories everyday as a way to stay accountable.

My goal is to average 1700 calories a day with exercise everyday. Recently I've been high and pretty much maintaining or loosing very slowly.

Monday: 2478 calories, 244 deficit, 45 minutes Tae Bo

Today's cals: 2048.
Had an incident between snack and dinner where I sat down started, but was able to stop in time. Although empty calories, I did not go more than 48 over my max cal allowance. But because of the spike in my blood sugar, I'm feeling all tired and dragged out now. Poo!
I may nix my evening snack to balance out a bit. 80 cals in JELL-O, but is it worth it? I don't want to be feeling deprived all night, that usually leads to a bad state of mind...
Well, we'll see how I feel when snack time arrives.

martiniforme - it sounds like you are in control both in mind and body, being aware of why you eat and being able to stop in the midst of a overeating incident. Good for you!

Sunday: day 83 = 1765 calories
Monday: day 84 = 1090 calories

Bellydancing got more complicated Monday night because we learned a few more moves. Doing the moves is one thing, but doing them while walking forward or backward - too hard. Figure eights anyone?

Yesterday I think I did about 1600-ish. I don't really count the exact number. I tend to just over estimate a little. I didn't work out. I was zonked out most of the day because my stomach is still all nasty. I picked, picked all day at my foods and hardly ate anything and then I got slammed with hunger before I went to bed and had a big bowl of Special K.

"ALLY...You did so good still with throwing half of the food away, and just think, tomorrow is a new day! "

Thanks, Michelle. I was really proud of myself for not binging on my evil lunch.

Martiniforme - How about sugar free jello? It has no calories. The peach kind is really yummy.

Hi Morag! Welcome to the thread and to belly dancing. For me it's been a very rewarding form of excersise. I hope that you take it up. You should also up your calories a little bit. I'm not a Doctor, but my Doc said that a person shouldn't fall below 1200 for energry and health reasons.

"Bellydancing got more complicated Monday night because we learned a few more moves. Doing the moves is one thing, but doing them while walking forward or backward - too hard. Figure eights anyone?"

Ooo, Webweevil! Figure 8's ARE hard. I find them to be the hardest thing for me to do in terms of making the movement look nice and isolated from the torso. That and hip slides. I have a hard time with the isolations..but I'm getting better. Wait till chest slides/circles come along. I can't really push my ribs out that far. But, I just got to keep doing it to get better.

Wait till 3/4 shimmies come your way. And I promise you that it gets easier with practice. So practice!

My calories yesterday -- 1155. I was trying the Biggest Loser recommendation of 7 calories per pound of current weight.
Calories burned -- 3530. I didn't think I would do it, but I dragged my sorry butt to the gym at night, got in an hour on the treadmill & elliptical AND didn't pig out when I got home! Yippee! I lost another lb finally - that's 2 this week. (This week being since last Tuesday, not since Sunday )

Could you explain the Biggest Loser calorie thing? 7 times your weight tells you what exactly?
