Today 35 minutes on the treadmill , 20 minutes running and 15 minutes walking hard hills.

Then 30 minutes swimming after work in an attempt to wake me up a bit. It didn't work very well...

pilates is surprisingly hard work if you do it properly...

That's me done for the day now.

I hurt...

Workout day from ****. This is not recommended, and I'm not quite sure how I came up with this fantastic idea.

First of all I went out for a run, on my normal 5.5 mile route. I don't run it all, but I'd guess I ran about 4.5 miles of it.

Then I wanted to watch some rugby on tv this afternoon. For some reason I thought it would be a really good idea to watch it while exercising at the gym. Note to self, when the rugby itself lasts 80 minutes, plus 15 minutes half time, plus 15 minutes build up, and you can only do cardio for the whole of that time if you want to listen to the sound (you can only plug your headphones in on the treadmill, the cross trainer and the bike), this might not be so wise. Particularly if you get the times mixed up and turn up 15 minutes earlier. Having already been out for a run.

So I ended up doing 65 minutes on the cross trainer before collapsing onto the bike and doing about an hour and 20 minutes in total on that. A bit less intense, but my heart rate was still about 125-135 for the whole of that time.

If I'm not down when I weigh in tomorrow there is no justice in the world (although I'm currently craving all sorts of naughty things to make up for all those calories I lost. I'm trying not to give in and cooking stuffed peppers instead...)

The problem was that once I got started I realised if I left I'd miss a lot of the game showering and getting home, so I ended up just sticking it out. I've never been so glad for a game to end!!!

Poor YP, I hope you haven't hurt yourself! I'd take tomorrow off to recover if I were you. Actually, if I did what you did I'd probably take the rest of the week off.

I went for a 20 minute walk today. It would've been longer but it started raining, torrential downpour, and I was literally soaked by the time I got back to the car! I don't know why I didn't bring a flipping brolly!

I'm feeling a lot better now, luckily. I can move around again, although I'm still trying to work out why my abs were more sore than my legs.

Don't worry, I'm not intending to do anything too strenuous tomorrow, maybe a bit of a swim or a walk but not much more.

Gentle stuff today. Some weights this morning and a half hour swim, and I've just been out to walk around the park for about 4 miles. still, I'm glad I got out and did something, and I discovered some really nice woods to walk in near me.

Glad you went easy on yourself today, YP.

About an hour walk for me today. I was going to lift weights as well but I'm completely knackered.
