Aside from that, you guys are all doing so wonderfully!
Spinach - with your running, are you aiming for a goal? Years ago when I got down in to the 160's (an yes, I let many bad decisions put all the weight plus some back on), I set goals of races - mostly 5K or 10K charity runs & walks. I'm thinking I might start that again this spring. It gives me something to look forward to when I am training and/or getting bored on the treadmill.
Manders- what program are you using to track calories at restaurants? A friend of mine mentioned one, but I haven't checked any of them out yet.
I use livestrong for my tracker. But I always, always check the nutritional information on the restaurants website to verify what's on there is accurate. I find it hilarious that the web team says they check everything, want it to be all accurate and won't put a verified tag on things that aren't correct. And then you find something that's all the same (item and serving size) and there are several different calorie contents, all noting they are verified! Originally Posted by amanda2181

As much as I love pancakes, I have a feeling I would be heading in the wrong direction, and as such, I cannot tempt myself - even if I *tell* myself I won't eat the whole plate.)Aside from that, you guys are all doing so wonderfully!

If a restaurant I go to doesn't have nutritional information, I look it up on livestrong for comparable items. Then when I actually have the plate in front of me, before I take a bite, I take a good look at the size, proportions of the ingredients, etc. That tells me if what I've found is in the ballpark. Unless I feel that it's over what's on livestrong, I'll log it in as what I've found.Glad your trip went well!

I have a feeling the 2 cups of broccoli for dinner will turn into 1 because I won't be that hungry and I'm not sure if I have 2 in my frig.

Got bumped, took a nice little voucher, and stayed in a hotel. Downside, I didn't see my family, the gym wasn't open at 6 like it should have been and I don't have time to wait, and I had to eat a so-so dinner last night. Upside, once I know what my job situation is like for next year, maybe we'll take a nice trip to the Caribbean with the voucher.
