Jayde - Sorry you had a crappy day! Hope you are feeling better soon!

I did a 45 minute TJ workout and 125 crunches. Also cleaned the house like a crazy woman but hardly made a dent. Oh well, working out is much more rewarding.

I feel so all alone.....

Yesterday was a rest day. Today I ran 2.32 miles in 27 minutes and walked 1.20 miles in 18 minutes. Then I did TJ 20 minute workout and TJ Abs workout. Did 125 crunches too. I was so pumped up!

Hope you are all having a great weekend! It's hot, hot, hot!

Hey Shrinking Mama! I admire your effort. It is definately contagious!

I did the short dvd with Suzanne on the ball and then went to the stores. I parked far far away from the stores as I did my errands and walked between the stores. Maybe the knowledge that my car was so far away kept me from buying much so it was a win win situation. I burned up calories but not bucks from my wallet.

I have another dvd by Suzanne. Can't wait to try it today.

Jayde, good for you hiking from the back of the lot and not spending too much! How was the new dvd?

Today I did Turbo Jam Cardio Workout for 45 minutes. Feeling like I need to pump it up tomorrow and finish July with a BANG!

Have a good one!

How did I do? hehe.. I was slightly addicted!

This morning I spend a little more than 90 minutes doing Pilates with Suzanne and her two friends. Not all 90 minutes was a workout though.. I spent quite a bit of time rewinding.. trying again.. watching... trying again... all in all trying to figure out which level was best for me. So.. I decided on the partial modification. I'll graduate back into Suzanne's class some day.

This evening instead of doing cardio?... you guessed it.. I pulled the same Pilates tape out and did 50 more minutes of abs and legs.

I'm with you about tomorrow's workout.. you pump it up... Me? I'm just going to try to get some decent cardio in on the last day of July ('specially since... see my goal down there... it says I am supposed to be working towards 60 min of cardio daily! Shhhhhhhh.... Let's not tell Suzanne.)

Shrinking Mama, so how did it go for you today?

This morning I did Yoga Now for 30 min (some of the poses and moves were a little difficult as I was a bit sore from yesterday.) And this evening I got on that mill and did some tough hills (tough for me...).. with speed intervals for 40 min.

I feel pretty good and am ready to welcome August.

Jayde, I bet you were sore after two hours + of yoga yesterday. Sounds like you finished up July on a strong note! Way to go!!

I ran 2.53 miles in 30 minutes and then walked another mile in 15 minutes after that. I was kind of dragging on the run. I think I didn't eat or drink enough and I had been out earlier in the heat. I kept going though because I'm stubborn and I had my heart set on the 2.5 miles. I did feel really great when it was over. After that, I did my abs dvd with the ball and light upper body weights. Then I did 150 crunches and the Turbo Jam 20 minute workout. I really had a rush when I finished.

I hit my exercise goal for the month today. I had planned 22 days of exercise and I hit that number today. Yippeeeee!! I'm aiming for 24 days next month. Let's stir it up!! Rock on!!

Shrinking Mama, that is a LOT of activity for one day! How do you keep up with yourself?! Careful in the heat though... stubborn or not.

The dvd on the ball.. you mean Suzanne Deason's that you mentioned the other day? So ... how did the workout go? Was it what you remembered?

So glad to hear you met your goal for July! I'm trying to think of a goal for myself that I can accomplish for August. I mean I have certain goals that don't have a time attached to them but I'm thinking of what I can do for August to continue evolving on this journey.

I'm thinking about maybe ...

30 min of cardio interval training rigorous... mill or whatever
30 min of flex time: cardio or weight training depending upon my mood
30 min yoga or pilates or ball
