What someone told me (i was doing this mistake) is to only put the exercises that you get from working out: ex: swimimg, aerobics ect. Things like cleaning or seating on the toilet is part of the lifestyle.

At the beginning I just input my weight what I do daily(which I think included excercises daily and @ work(which is sitting down w/little movement). Then on the daily bases I put down my activity, which I do 55 minutes of tae bo 4x a week and walk 45 minutes for 1X week.Im I doing something wrong?

What SusanB (she is an expert) told me is just to add on the exercises...in your case Tae bo, and walks...the other stuff like seating with little movement is part of the lifestyle!

Thanks Susan and Holly I found the place on FitDay....but I ate so many different foods (very small helpings) that I am not even going to try to figure out the cal. for yesterday. I was still down .5 today so it must not have been too bad even with 2 glasses of wine. It might get me tomorrow as we have dinner out tonight but that should be the last of it for a while. Thank Goodness!!!!

Hi all,
I read some of your posts because I count calories. Well not lately, but I'm also chasing the wagon. That comment prompted my response. rofl.

I like that you all keep so intouch with the actual facts & numbers. I don't knowabout the deficit part, these sites usually tell me I burn way more than i actually think I do.

Lisi, you are absolutely right. It was a huge blow to my ego to find that in actual fact I was probably only burning around 1800 calories per day. I always considered myself fairly active (denial). But facts is facts, ma'am! Once I got my head around that wee bit of denial ... I got along much better.

And thanks for the kudos folks. I like to help.

Well, again I tried to get in 1500 cals but ate around 2000. I am getting closer, as I am logging everything. There are a lot of sweets at work, and that is not helping. Dinner put me over. I think I need to do two frozen meals a day for a few days instead of one for lunch and a home cooked meal.

I have been walking - day 3 for changing that habit. Smoking, not going as well. But I am doing what I can...

Okay, just finished up my cals for the day, and I am at 1550 for the day! I feel good. I also did my walking this morning. Going to try and wear the patch tomorrow.

I worked late today, and so I brought dinner and lunch. I even passed up when they ordered lunch in. Normally I would have had a huge sandwich or steak quesadillas, so I was pretty proud of myself.

Rebeca - great job on the cal deficit - also 3 hours of dancing? Wow!
LynnA & Donna - a 600 cal deficit is great in my book!

Hope everyone has a good night!
