  • When I go out to eat at places like that I usually just ballpark it if I can't readily find the info. Ichiban shouldn't be much of a problem, japanese food is generally low cal. Stay away from eating tons of white rice, fill up on brothy soup etc. Hibachi is my FAVORITE, you're making me hungry LOL. Shrimp, scallops, chicken etc are all good choices. Not breaded though, of course. Carrabas may be a little harder to do healthily but you can still do it. Stay away from mounds of pasta with white sauce and maybe order a salad with grilled chicken or shrimp and dressing on the side?

    Good luck!
  • Calorieking.com is a great resource for calories, fat, carbs, etc...for restaurants.
  • Carrabbas dot com has nutritional info in the menu section. It looks like maybe Weight Watcher exchanges? If you aim for high protein, low fat, low carbs...you should be good to go. That's my rule of thumb for italian food.
Japanese is pretty hard to go too far wrong as long as you avoid the fried stuff and take it easy on the rice.

Drink lots of water and enjoy the company of your family.
