Okay: I'll call them highly dangerous foods, is that better?

Default Checking In

Hi Everyone.

I'm just checking in quickly. My life has been in shambles with ALL THIS WORK. I haven't had a day off since October 10, and I'm scheduled to work straight through next Friday. Oh, I hope I make it!

I'm a little concerned about my weight loss. It's hard to find time to eat well, and I think my metabolism is slowed down. Plus, I've been too tired to do any kind of workout. I've been weighing in only once a week, as well. I think that makes it easier for me to cheat.

Well, from reading the posts, it sounds like everyone is doing well. By the way, all the pictures are great!

I'll chat with you all later. Have a great weekend!

Amy: I think our wedding cake was the first frozen cake I ate. I loved it then, and still do. I can't believe I kept in the freezer for an entire year. LOL! Boy, have things changed. We have a CS in a mall close by. Only stopped there once, and it was good - sometime when I feel like I really deserve a treat (other than a ice cold beer, or frozen margarita) I will try the cake batter flavor. I would have purchased the beef instead of the turkey as well. In our area, we have an awesome grocery store named Wegman's. To make my poultry loaf - I mix 1% fat ground white turkey, and 9% ground white chicken (they must include the chicken skin in that because there is so much fat in it). I like just about everything (the main reason why I started LA). I just can't eat ground 'dark' meat turkey alone. It has a leaves a funky taste in my mouth. I hate turkey-ham once and lost my lunch over it. Strange that I will eat 'real' turkey breast and like it. Go figure!

Hey, who ate popcorn at the movies, can't believe I found this ->

Okay chicklettes - I have an idea - My mouth won't stop watering. Next week will be our week of change. We will discuss fruits and veggies and different ways we can eat chicken. Is it a deal?

Star, you will be proud of me. Tomorrow I'm doing a charity thing for Make-a-Wish foundation. The name of the event is the "Short Fat Man's Run" - it's similar to a poker-run but on foot. It's sponsered by Labatt Blue, so I may have an ice-cold one before we get started.

You all will love this:

Race Requirements and Specifics:
- Males whose waist measures at least 4 1/2" more than their inseam are eligible.
- Females of any configuration may run on the "Welcome Guest" basis.
TGIF and everyone have a great weekend. I'll be checking back. Sy

Default Ready for lunch...

That's me (is that a pig?)

Anyhow I'm getting ready to leave for lunch. I might be gone longer than an hour becuz here's my trip plan:

Go to grocery store for Peanut Butter/Jelly, bread. Make sandwich in car.

Stop by Liquor store for vodka and frozen mararita mix....

Zip by Baskin Robins, for Ice Cream, anything chocolate

Detour to Starbucks for a mocha something

Get on freeway to Krispy Kreme for afew

and last

Try and find some frozen cake with icing somewhere...

Now I know this might sound "highly dangerous" to try and accomplish in one hour, but you chicks have given me a powerful desire.........

Wish me

Fiona-Way to go! I know how that feels to do good on a test!!! You definatley deserve a party!!! WWWOOOOOHOOOO!!!

Kristi-I am quite sure we would be dangerous! I live in Boise/Eagle area. I could sneak some KK onto the airplane!!

Well at wi I was down 2 pounds!!! So either the plateau breaker worked/is working or TOM is on its way out of my system!!! Whatever the case I don't care!! It was funny the scale kept going back and forth between .2 and .4 and she said "We are going with the .2"!!! Right on!! SO I am .2 away from my 20 pound but I am giving it to myself anyway!!! Also on the way home I called DH because I was so elated I had to tell someone and since I don't know your guys #'s! He said, Okay, you need to feel good about this and come to a conclusion and set a "goal" to end this craziness..... He was right! I decided I am loosing 8 then going onto stabalization and I am going to accept myself at that!! It felt good to know I was so close! maybe even a month to 6 weeks away! 8 pounds would put me at 128 which is only 3 pounds from my original goal but enough is enough I am ready for the next stage of this thing!!! Has anyone noticed I am not a patient person??

Well I have yet to dive into house work! Had to hit wal-mart and get pumpkins! So I better get going as it takes me a good two hours!!!

Have a great day and weekend all! I will check in later!

Default Way to go Sammy!

Congrats Sammy on your loss! You're so close! I can't wait to "get there", I really feel like when I get to my goal I will be able to maintain. Heck, I've maintained my weight at 172-175 for a year now...think my body needed to hold it's weight there to go on to my next phase of 20 more pounds. My only concern is that I am going to get there, then next year I am going to work on getting pregnant. I don't want to allow myself that "eating for 2"; and I don't want to be so strict with myself for fear of gaining that I am not getting enough nourishment in. Well, I guess I will cross that bridge when I come to it!

Way to go, though!!

Wow - lots of great stuff going on! Congrats to everyone - we all deserve it after all that talk of "highly dangerous" foods!

I have good news too - I am down .8 with my jeans on!! I was going to take them off, but I think I'll keep that lb. or so in reserve for next week's WI in case I am bad this weekend. I am .2 from my 15 lb. avatar and probably would have made it without the jeans, but I will wait to see if I can be good all weekend and get it next week.

Star - pick me up for lunch on your Harley tomorrow and we'll hit all those spots together! Of course the Harley may not hold us on the way back!

I am going dancing tonight and have been saving fruits all day to use tonight at the club

Have a great evening - I know I will!
