Lost the .2 I was up on Monday, yesterday - and complained slightly at the center, since I've been around the same .2 (up and down) for the past two weeks. They said that they'd wait until next Monday, and see if TOM made any difference, and if I still hadn't moved, they'd forward my diary to the nutritionist and see if there were any adjustments.
BUT - my home scale was down this morning. Ta-dum! Maybe, finally, something is happening!
I've got the carb craver plan, but I've been afraid to try it! There are alot of good pasta choices which will be good for cooler winter.
Although I agree with Amy, I'm getting tired of chicken caeser salads when I eat out at lunch. Did have Thai yesterday - that was good, grilled shrimp, and I stayed away from all the curry and peanut sauces!
And only one spoonful (well, two) of white rice. I did pick the carrot blossoms of a couple of serving dishes - not too bad, right?Dawn -- congrats on your loss
Star, had to laugh about the sodium thing. I was told I couldn't have canned soup because of the sodium, but the frozen dinners certainly have it!
Sy - thanks for the straight scoop on the WW meals - I figured that the reason was something more like that. I did buy the reduced fat triscuits, and will try to find the right breadsticks this weekend.
Sammy, I'm on the purple plan, and the CC portions are slightly bigger. mainly another ounce of protein, from what you've listed.
Has anyone tried the frozen Gorton grilled fish filets?
My breakfast lately has been 3/4 c of plain yogurt, with an apple sliced into it, and 1 tbsp of sugar free apricot jam - it's yummy and keeps me until mid morning. That way I get my dairy in and one fruit. The fruit is the hardest thing for me to get in. I usually only get in two a day.
And, Amy, I'm with you - a vent-a-holic.
Thanks to you all for giving me good suggestions!
I'm looking forward to seeing what the changes are in November.
Julie (without a digital picture right now, but will try to get one soon!)

Hi Kristi & Dawn....
Somehow I get the feeling if you look you wouldn't have any trouble finding a picture of you with a
drink.
I would get fired for too much taste testing
I LOVE ice cream, even the low carb ones and that's not good becuz it's the portion size that I have trouble following.....I mean really, who wants to eat 1/2 cup of ice cream?
We make the Carbsmart Low Carb sandwiches here and they are pretty good. Tiny, but good. The best part is they are made small, so you don't have to measure out a small serving. Because you eat the whole sandwich, it's not like you missed out. We also make the Popsicle Shots here - they are not a dairy product and are made with artificial sweetners, so are fairly low in calories. Gee, maybe I should get a job in marketing!

right......
The fruity shots have 40-80 calories depending on size and the lemon-lime are probably lower.
