Another 200 swings with the 15 lb. KB this morning... did 100, rested about 20 minutes, then another 100... I'm not zipping along with this like I thought I could... trouble is, most of the time, I just forget... I guess I
could blame my age (62), but I don't really want to... I'm gonna set my cell phone to remind me at 5:00 p.m., if I haven't done them by then... that puts me still doing them before supper & avoiding that full-tummy problem...
Doing 100 swings non-stop sure raises my heart & breathing rates, better than any of the hour-long cardio classes I do at the gym... I like that, makes me feel like I've really done something... I'm not gonna give up the gym, but since I haven't lost any significant weight in the 9 months I've been going there, maybe adding KB is just the amping-up I need to get the scales moving downward again... of course, I have to confess, my diet has also been way off for a few months... I've just had this thought -- maybe exercising at home will make me more conscious of my diet as well, whereas exercising at the gym separates me, mentally, from my diet... I don't know
