Hey where'd everyone go? How was everyone's weekend? Mine was good. I was feeling a little crazy Saturday so I went jogging outside even though it was raining lol! I've been getting more steps in on my none cardio days just by extending my 15 minute warm-up to about 30-40 minutes on the treadmill. I still don't count it as cardio though since I'm not pushing myself hard at all. I've been real tired the last few days since sleeping so restlessly lately, hopefully that will get better soon. Hope everyone else is doing well!

enchantedonyx~ stores are a great idea! We don’t have any big stores around here though, so I’m just hoping for some better weather, which looks like it might be arriving finally.

Gypsy~ I see your point of recognizing those that also completed the challenge, and will recognize those that completed the challenge as well as those who might not have quite made it but still excelled steps wise. Did you sleep better last night?

me4life~ How are you feeling now?

Confessor
~ How is/was your trip?

Sorry I’ve been MIA lately. Things have been a little nuts here lately, but seem to be calming down lately. I can tell TOM is coming because my chocolate craving is through the roof right now.

KimL1214~ Not yet unfortunately, I think I need to cut my caffeine out and really push myself longer with my workout tomorrow. Hopefully that will tucker me out enough to sleep through the night.

me4life~Glad you're feeling better! Maybe you can count that work you did as exercise? Just a thought.

The trip went great! I did end up eating at mcd's twice but I didn't snack adn if I did it was carrots and apples for me. Snacking was not an issue for me on the 6 hour drive to the city. I felt great. I was having a super week but yesterday I woke up and guess what? Yup, sick again and this morning my back hurts, really hurts. I'm starting to wonder if is my TOM again soon though it's a week early and I've noticed that every couple of cycles I have back pain.

I was really upset this afternoon, as I stayed home and I cried to dh how I was so on track and ready to starting moving up in the exercise department and now I'm sick again. I have my physical next tuesday and I'll be so glad to talk to the doctor. I did see my nurse thismorning and she said I was doing really well.

I do feel great about all I've accomplished and I just hope i can shake this bug fast. and the back pain goes away.

I got out for a long walk with the boys and it was great! I got so many steps in, I'm very happy about that and I'm finally off to the gym today after a week away.

I gotta get to track practice so this is a bit on the short side...

Week 2 results are up on the step thread!

Reminder~ please post whether or not you accomplish the weekly challenge or not. Some post their steps so I can't tell if the total include bonus steps or not.

I'll try to read everyone's posts tomorrow, sorry I've been slacking lately... I'm getting back with it, just need a good kick in the butt!

Yes I'm a bit confused too about the weekly challenge. Is the weekly challenge just to get 10,000 steps in every day? Also I have been including my bonus steps in with my totals at the end, was I not supposed to? I'm so confused!

Hi girls, I too have been MIA. I was outta town, without my pedometer! I was really kinda sad. But I am home, found my little buddy, and am back to racking up the steps.

Kim1214- thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize we were having new challenges each week either! Cool!

Gypsy- you must be doing something right! keep it up!

Me4life-sorry to hear your about your injuries. It can make it tough to stay motivated when you don't feel your best. And I know your grandma must appreciate your help! That was sweet of you! Ps, yard work doesn't do much for the step count, but it sure is Great for the back of your legs and tooshie!

Confessorsiuan-Glad to hear you are back at it! I know you have struggled lately to overcome all those nagging little "bugs". Way to go for staying at it and committed! I know it is slow going, but you will see/feel the changes soon! Staying at it no matter what is what makes the differences in the long run!!! Hope you get some Warm sunshine soon I know that always makes me feel better!
