Thanks for asking. I'm feeling much better, I still have a naggin cough but don't feel like pooh anymore. The back is fairing better, I'm making sure I walk when I can. It's hard when I have a desk job and 3 kids at home but I'm hoping to put a better effort in all around starting this weekend. We woke up to snow this morning, it's the 3rd time it's snowed in April, it's just crazy and depressing. I hope we have a nice summer!

How is everyone else doing?

KimL1214~ The sleeping's getting better a little. I don't know why but every 5-6 weeks or so I go through this. It always goes away I just feel like a zombie for a few days while I put up with it.

I totally intended on making it to 10,000 steps yesterday and all weekend so that I'd make the challenge. But, I was hit by a car yesterday that coming head on to me in my lane. I swerved into her lane to avoid her and she came back to her lane and hit me so hard that my car almost flipped. It was so scary. My almost 2 year old was in the back. Thank God that we were both ok. It was the first accident that I've ever been in. I'm going to take it easy for a couple days and let my body heal.

OMG! Wendyland I'm so glad you're ok! I've been in 4 or 5 car accidents in the last 3 years (none my fault) just because of the amount of time I spend driving for my job and I can tell you the 5th one is just as scary as the first. Mine were never to bad and I've never been hurt thank goodness but it's still scary none the less. Was the other driver hurt at all? Did she say what caused her to swerve out of her lane in the first place? Is your car fixable? I hope you feel better soon!

The lady told the officer that she thought that someone was on her right side and she thought he was coming into her lane. It didn't look like that from my perception. I didn't see a car next to her and she was driving wildly. I thought that she had probably passed out or got really confused. My car is pretty bad. I hope it's not fixable because who knows what all got rattled around when it slammed back down. We're going to the tow yard today to clean it out. I'm anxious to get another peek. I'm also going to miss my car. It was almost paid off.

Me4life~ Congrats on your new job!!!

Wendyland~ I’m so sorry! How are you feeling now? How is your little one feeling?

Sounds like everyone’s weekend was somewhat chaotic. Mine was the same as usual. Lazy Saturday, busy Sunday. Today was a mess and I’m hoping to get a chance to go for a good walk before the rain comes in!

Raining by you to huh Kim? It's been raining all day here and now it's thundering too/ I ended up on the treadmill of course but I ran 2 1/4 miles and walked my way to 3 for the first time ever! I a lot of steps in today, I guess to make up for the weekend. Weekend are so hard for me to get my 10,000 in since it's my time to chill out. Oh well I'll get used to it.

I'm doing better. I've been seeing my chiropractor. I have some injuries, including whip lash. It's a real bummer, but it's good that I went to see her right away to start treatment. Now I just have to deal with the insurance companies. The other driver has told her company that my story is false. I guess they'll find out the truth when they see the police report and talk to the 4 witnesses that back up my story. I was touched by how many people stepped forward to be on my side.

I hope everyone else is doing well. I'm going to take a break from keeping track of steps. I hope to be back at it in May.
