Hi gang, I'm in for five pounds. I had a goal of 8 lbs. and made 5lbs. I'm trying to be a little more realistic. Here's to exercise and drinking lots of water. Flow

Hey ladies! I'm back and ready to start fresh. May wasn't as good a month as I would've liked, but I have no one to blame but myself. I still ended up with a 3.6 pound loss for the month even though my eating and exercise were nowhere near where they should be. I'm going to set a goal of 10 pounds for this month. I wish everyone the best of luck.
Steph

I weigh on Sundays so my weigh ins will be as follows

6/10
6/17
6/24
7/1

Greetings all.
I took a day off from cardio yesterday. I felt horrid yesterday and the kids and I have come down with an evil cold.....so I just did my crunches and pushups at night....

I feel tired today (the baby was up nearly every two hours with a fever that refused to break). But am going to commit to at least get moving for half an hour at the very least but not to push myself like I ordinarily do.

I hope everyone is having a better and more well rested morning than me!

Take care all!

I had my first weigh in for June and I'm down a pound!!! Considering that I'm fairly immobile with a knee injury at the moment I'm glad for it. As they say at Tesco - 'every little bit helps!'

Next Monday I'm back to the dr so I'm hoping to be given the okay to do some light exercise. Hmmmmm would a 5 mile walk count?

Onwards and downwards!

Cheers
T

May was shocking for me too Bobsgal, we can do it this month!! WTG on the loss wateraddict, thats awesome!! 4lbs down!!
Nyerinuk - you should be so proud that you have had a loss considering you have a knee injury, WTG!!

So ive just had a bit of a motivational thought, I had kinda forgotten ( whoops!) that i am going to maid of honour in January 2009, and if i carry on losing 3lbs a month for the next 20 months i could be 60 lbs lighter, i could be a 160 lb matron of honour!! Its an exciting thought!! Had a good swim last night, im off to the gym tonight. Trying to shake the exercise up a little, have got in a bit of a funk recently.

kt, nyerinuk, and water addict! way to go ladies

Hi lekhika, hope you feel better gosh and that the little one breaks the fever. Speedy recovery to you all. Lekhika i rested and didn't workout when feeling so lousy and lethargic like tht but I didnt take any medicine for it whatsoever, I never do! I usually kick things pretty quick but this blasted thing has progressed to my chest and coughing. Medicine time! lol anyways, might be a good idea to take something for it. Rest up girl.

pigginpodgey, i love what you said about the 3lbs. per month, etc.

That fruit and veggie fast sounds good ladies....I would prob do it with you if i were better, maybe sometime down the road I'll do that too.

Yesterday went very well, it was a good first day of the week. I am ready for another day my ladies and i wish you all a happy and successful day.

Hey I'm new and I think I will join this challenge. I think maybe posting my success/failures will make me want to stay on track better so I can right down good results.

My goal for June is to do an average of 500 calories a day in exercise (more some days less others) and eat 1500 calories a day. (I have a VERY slow metabolism trust me eating just 2000 calories a day while maintaining my 500 calories a day workouts will lead to weight gain).

That should lead to about a 5 lbs weight loss for June. *fingers crossed*

Pick me! Pick me! I can't seem to get my act together and even though it is now June 6 - I am in! I have been struggling with dieting so my goal is to stay OP EVERYDAY from now until 6/30 and to work out 5 times a week - even if that is just a 30 minute walk outside with my daughter. I know I will lose wight if I can just stick to it so instead of a number on the scale, my goal is to stick to it.

Good luck all!
